= Dominion Story =

Like with the [[Folan Agenda]], the purpose of this page is to give more hindsight in the Dominion agenda and what they are actually after.

== Pre-Peace Station ==

They are completely unknown species for everyone, located in the Gamma/Delta quadrants. Depending on how the map will look like once we get that done. Depending on the sizes of Hemmoian and Bacterian spaces at that time they might have had some minor contact with the Dominion. Nothing hostile though, maybe just random sightings 'n stuff.

The Dominion is connected to the Emissaries and Lervians, however, they aren't exactly allied or members, they are good friends though. Emissaries have helped the Dominion to defend themselves against the ancient races (first ones) and thus they have pretty strong military although their space itself is small. They also have genetically engineered soldiers, created by the Emissaries. This connection won't be revealed until much later in the Exploreison series though.

The Dominion is comprised of several different species, not conquered ones, but they aren't exactly enjoying democracy either. So things are pretty good, but they obviously could be better too. Parliens could possibly be one of the largest of these species, possibly in charge of the military. The shapeshifters ''(name pending)'' are the leaders of the Dominion, but stay away from many of the major events, except infiltration and sabotage missions.

In a nutshell they are an alliance of races geared by the Emissaries.

They remain in the background for most of the pre-PS time. Only some sightings are seen and random talk about a "Dominion" is heard. Nothing too big, so they're pretty mysterious player. It's possible some sightings could be in the Beta Quadrant free zone.

== Peace Station ==

''One thing that needs to be decided is how the Dominion get to the Beta and Alpha quadrants. As the Dominion space resides in the more further reaches of the Gamma and/or Delta quadrants (Where first one space is located in the current map) and travel times would have to be quite long. The Berlan wormhole is one possiblity, but I'm not sure is it too much of a rip-off. Suggestions are welcome.''

In the first season there are more sightings and encounters with the Dominion and later on even official contact is established. The Dominion sees UCP and GF as rather weak and potential targets ''(as a side-note, I guess there has to be an explanation why they don't attack Hemmoians and/or Bacterians as they are both weakened by their latest war and much closer, once again suggestions are welcome. One possiblity is that the problems withing the GF government marks them as the "weakest link", and UCP then assists the GF, but the other races either aren't interested or simply can't afford ships)''. These attacks, however, are not sanctioned by the Emissaries and they are left out of the loop. The Dominion is overconfident and believes that the other races won't assist.

The first two seasons are mostly just sabotage attempts and general build-up for the war. In the end, before [[The End Is Near]] there could be some slow build-up for the attacks. Like fleet sightings, scout missions and such.

Third season is mostly just the war, with GF and UCP loosing. The Dominion attempts to get the Folans out, but due to the actions of a single Folan fleet the Folans go against the Dominion. The "allies" are heavily loosing in this season, with only slight victories. The Dominion has significant armies built at this point and manufactures ships much faster.

== The End of the War, Season 4 ==

There are two possibilities now, one is the current one in the ep guide or then that the fourth season also starts badly, with the allies only gaining minor footholds, while loosing others and that the final turning point happens when all the races, including Hemmoians and Bacterians, band together and eliminate the Dominion threat together. If the latter, then [[Alliances And Shit]] should happen earlier, maybe after the Dominion attack on PS? Once again, suggestions are welcome.

If all the races band together, then for the war to end in half a year they'd need to move pretty fast. This might be possible if they manage to eliminate the invading Dominion forces totally, with pretty heavy losses obviously, and then start to invade the Dominion territories.

As to what happens to the Dominion territories, probably most will join UCP and others will remain independent, free of the Dominion. The shapeshifters refuse to surrender and the Parliens finally probably surrender, probably UCP taking over their territories too.

Once the Dominion starts to get invaded themselves, they alert the Emissaries and inform that they are being attacked, not mentioning of their own invasion though. Emissaries acknowgeledge the situation, but are unable to assist, due to their ongoing war with the ancient races. This is one of reasons for the Emissaries' hostility towards the Milky Way species.

== Aftermath ==

The Dominion legacy doesn't get completely destroyed after the war. One shapeshifter survives the war and resides on Gigerdi Prime, as Admiral Nechen. As to what he/she does is still under consideration so more about that later. That will probably be featured in the [[In The Beginning]].
