Production Notes: 1.Takes place about two years after the Harbinger.

2.Available characters for the movie: Captain Gill Mora, Vice-Admiral Gigerdius, Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex, Lieutenant-Commander Sprak, Lieutenant-Commander Drill, Commander Grillka, Lieutenant Ghi’la, Lieutenant Fhogli, Lieutenant Sharon Jensen, Lieutenant Noaren Doniurs, Lieutenant-Commander Deket/Doctor Moorop Illei, Second Lieutenant T’Lar, Lieutenant Min’da, Fleet Admiral Nechen, Fleet Admiral (Resistance leader) Justin Gron, Resistance member Normi, Resistance member 2, Resistance undercover scientist, More resistance members, Agent Hand, Agent Hollow, Agent Thunder, Dr. Coit/Mad Scientist, Governor Degrassi, Colonists, other minor Section 18 agents, Captain Branson, First Officer of Anthelion, Captain of Hammerfest, Lieutenant Anner, Stoner.

3.Primary characters: Gill Mora, Gigerdius, Sprak, R’Derex, Grillka, Agent Hand, Agent Hollow, Mad scientist, Governor Degrassi, Nechen, Normi, undercover scientist.

4.Secondary characters: The rest.

5.Notes about the characters:

6.Mora and Gigerdius: Mora and Gigerdius have both known each other even before Mora became the commanding officer of Exploreison. They are friends to each other and like to talk about different sort of things with each other. Gigerdius was recently promoted as vice-admiral.

7.Mora, Gigerdius and the crew: They have known each other for over two years now so they are quite friendly towards each other and rarely follow any strict military ruling. All have formed quite close friendships with each other. Noaren is pretty much the only exception.

8.Possible new crewmember: The Operations officer Lieutenant Noaren Doniurs, a female Gigerdian. If she is included, she has been assigned to the Exploreison only few months ago and is the most ‘militaristic’ of the entire crew.

9.Grillka: She’s been offered the position of a captain, but has refused the offer for now (quite Riker-like). No longer follows a strict military ruling that she used to follow during the first season and a bit in the second season as well. She has perhaps formed friendship the most with Mora and Gigerdius, along with the rest of the main cast.

10.R’Derex, Sprak, Deket and T’Lar: They have known each other for over four years now so they’ve established quite close relationships between each other. T’Lar is now the head of the Special Security Force. R’Derex and T’Lar are Folan, Sprak a Lihter and Deket a Parlien. R’Derex is perhaps the most “funniest” character and the most difficult one to act, as he has a wide area of emotional states. The status of Deket’s appearance remains unknown at this point.

11.Moorop Illei: The possible replacement for Deket. Mainly because Deket might be so hard to do. A female Gigerdian specialized in alien life forms. Doesn’t really work for the military, but for the R&E. Has been assigned permanently to the Exploreison during the third season. Will hopefully also have an appearance in Harbinger.

12.Min’da: Min’da is a T-Race member so she is quite ‘Vulcan like’, which means she rarely shows emotion, however unlike Sprak she does express emotions on some level and doesn’t always speak so ‘logically’ as Sprak does. She moves her hands like Taelons. If we can get her, a first one sub-plot will be added.

13.Ghi’la, Fhogli, Sharon and Drill: Sharon and Drill are humans. Ghi’la and Fhogli are Gigerdians. Fhogli is extremely loyal to the alliance, but still isn’t these “duty first” people or militaristic, although he is more by-the-book guy than most of the crew. All of them have gotten to know each other quite well. Ghi’la is communications officer, Fhogli handles weapons, Sharon is at the helm and Drill is the chief engineer.

14.Fleet Admiral Nechen: He’s part of ‘the conspiracy’, however, nothing about it is revealed here. Officially, he’s one of the fleet admirals in Gigerdian military, a Gigerdian. Will be the one contacting Gigerdius on matters from the strategic command.

15.Fleet Admiral Justin Gron: Not long ago he and his battle group formed the resistance movement and thus unrest rose on several colonies including the one in Nemesis (Donor). Gron and his battle group are located in the Donor system during the Nemesis. However, none of his ships will probably be seen, except maybe the Galaxy class. Gron himself will be spending most of his time in the “resistance base” or aboard his ship. At least he won’t just be walking on the streets. He’s a Gigerdian and either wears the military uniform or normal civilian clothes.

16.Resistance member Normi: He’s the one that the Section 18 has conducted experiments on. Therefore, he hates and fears the Section 18 and has just escaped from their custody at the beginning. He dies in the end.

17.Resistance member 2: The resistance buddy who dies at the beginning. Gender can be male or female, doesn’t really matter.

18.Resistance undercover scientist: A resistance scientist working in the secret Section 18 base. He/she’s the one that will give the location of the base and transport them to there. He/she also gives them information regarding the Emissaries, like that they originally thought they were bio-engineered warriors, but later found out that they truly naturally evolved to their current phase.

19.More resistance members: Generic resistance members that have smaller roles than the others. Can be added as much as we have actors. However, as much as you desire can be added as “Alternate” scenes. Probably at least two generic ones will be featured as bodyguards in the resistance meeting.

20.Agent Hand: The ‘main’ Section 18 agent. He is tasked along with his two other agents to destroy any security threats to the research facility, and report them to the “Mad scientist”.

21.Agent Thunder and Agent Hollow: They are perhaps the secondary agents, working together with Agent Hand in rooting out the ‘security threats’. One of these agents can be female, preferably one would be. Hollow has been written to be female.

22.Colonists: Generic colonists that have small or moderate roles in the movie. Amount depends on the available actors. However, as much as you desire can be added as “Alternate” scenes.

23.Other minor Section 18 agents: Agents onboard the Section 18 base that have smaller roles than the other agents.

24.Governor Degrassi: The governor of the Donor colony. He knows of the Section 18 base located in the system, but actively seeks to hide or denounce its presence. He is also completely unable to resist anything that the Section 18 makes him do, so he is just a mere puppet.

25.Dr. Coit: The main researcher and the “CO” of the Section 18 base facility located in the Donor system. He is slightly “insane” with mood swings, little sympathy for failures and a goal for the maximum use of the “creatures” that he is researching in the facility.

26.Ranks: Vice-Admiral Gigerdius (serves as an ambassador and advisor, surname is still unknown), Captain Gill Mora, Commander Grillka Erol, Lieutenant-Commander Sprak, Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex, Lieutenant-Commander Deket Hufv, Lieutenant-Commander Richard Drill, Lieutenant-Commander Min’da, Lieutenant Ghi’la Grog, Lieutenant Sharon Jensen, Lieutenant Fhogli Mird, Second Lieutenant T’Lar and Lieutenant Noaren Doniurs.

27.Featuring ships/stations: Barracuda class destroyers, Gamma class destroyers, Prime class cruiser, Valencia MkI and/or MkII class cruisers, maybe Lulsa class battle cruiser, Olympia and Jotta class corvettes, Envoy class carrier, Section 18 secret base, perhaps some defense turrets around the S18 base, S18 Infiltrator, Exploreison, Unknown Enemy ship, Logos class cruisers (Starfleet), Anthelion class dreadnought (Starfleet), Omega-D MkII class fighters, perhaps some Omega-D MkI fighters, Medusa class bombers, (optional) Defender MkII fighters, Ice Javelin class MkI battle drones, Spider class bombers, T-Race shuttle if one cannot be found or made then the GA military shuttle, (optional) Trinity class fighters (Starfleet), (optional) Mythos class bombers (Starfleet), at least 3-5 new Emissary capital ships, one new Emissary fighter and (only if everything else has been done) Justin Gron’s new Galaxy class ship. Only once everything else has been done, some first one ships can be made.

28.Ship names:

29.Logos class cruisers: U.F.S. Wargasm NCC-1395436 and U.F.S. Challenger NCC-1395435.

30.Barracuda class destroyers: G.A.S. Perspective GAC-90456

39.Anthelion class: U.F.S. Anthelion NX-1395643.

40.Possible scenes: A scene where the Dr. Coit’s persona would come out, possibly a communiqué with the traitor aboard Exploreison, who wouldn’t be seen.

FADE IN:

Previously on Peace Station: “Welcome to the Peace Station, Captain, I’m colonel Craal”, “I know that there are traitors working to undermine the president’s authority”, “I’ve heard about your little “Operation” during the Dominion war, and you’ve been to prison for it”, “There’s been a bomb explosion near the Security Office of the Gigerdian sector”, “There’s been an explosion at deck 70”, “we have dampening fields, force fields and sensors here to prevent things like these!”, “Perhaps you should check if they are in working condition”, “They were taken offline just before the explosion, but I don’t know by whom”, “The bomb itself seems to be unknown in origin, since the pattern of the damages it caused does not match any known device”, “You will be destroyed, you cannot stop the Loronas, the Exploreison must be destroyed. You will all die!”, “What is this ‘Loronas’?”, “One could work on the assumption that it’s someone’s or something's name”, “I have no idea what that ‘thing’ is; we seem to be dealing with a completely new species”, “It could be a member of a custom bred soldier species, specifically created for missions like these. This would also provide us with an explanation as to why it was so hostile; it was sent after us by a higher power”, “So, your business is over here?”, “Yeah, took some souvenirs as well”, “We still have some use for you, colonel Craal”, “Now, as for you…”, “This was not the last time we are going to meet our enigmatic new enemy and the information we were able to gather might prevent this sort of thing happening again”. (Will last about 45 seconds) And now the conclusion:

Teaser

Scene I "The Chase" EXT. Streets – Evening NOTE: The teaser feels a bit short and unmoving, certain additions or changes should be done, not necessary however.

The RESISTANCE GUY (Normi) is running on the streets, and then we see three SECTION 18 AGENTS after him.

The agents could try to attempt to shoot Normi, but fail in their attempts.

The running could be shown a few shots as they run near buildings and/or small forest.

At someplace Normi could collapse to the ground and then rise. At this point it would be good to show him to be quite exhausted.

A little after that, Normi could be stopped by ANOTHER RESISTANCE MEMBER somewhere.

RESISTANCE 2 Normi, you escaped?

NORMI Yeah, but we don't have much time, they're coming.

Some talking and running could be heard as the Section 18 agents get closer.

RESISTANCE 2 Yeah, come on!

The resistance people run AWAY FROM THE CAMERA; it still stays still for sometime as the Section 18 agents run to the spot and look around for sometime and then split to search in different directions.

Scene II "Snowball Fight" EXT. Space – Exploreison Flyover

Exploreison goes in space; GIGERDIUS' log is playing at the same time, about 5-20 seconds of CGI. If possible, music like Enterprise flyover.

GIGERDIUS (v.o.) Vice admiral's log stardate 7233.4; we are returning from our last mission in the Andromeda galaxy back to the GA outposts located in the rim of the Andromeda galaxy.

FADE TO:

EXT. Snowball Fight Place (Holodeck) – Day

CAMERA SLOWLY GOES DOWN from looking onto the sky and to the EXPLOREISON’S CREWMEMBERS, which are having a snowball fight. Gigerdius continues his log; some yelling from the fighters could be heard.

GIGERDIUS (v.o.) In the meantime, we decided to test a new holoprogram, which represents a past time human 'sport'.

SPRAK is standing near Gigerdius. MORA, R'DEREX, GRILLKA and Gigerdius are participating in the 'fight'.

It's quite irrelevant when and how much snowballs are actually thrown, as long as they are thrown. Some obscure talking can also take place.

After the camera has filmed their fighting for sometime then Sprak starts his 'comments':

SPRAK I fail to perceive any logic in this, admiral.

GIGERDIUS Well, so do I.

Sprak raises his eyebrows and could do some wondering expression.

SPRAK Then I fail to perceive any motivation to perform this.

GRILLKA Well, it's quite fun.

Sprak raises his eyebrows. Then again, some obscure talking and snowball throwing could take place.

After a while, Mora, Grillka or R'Derex could hit Sprak, and then Sprak could raise his eyebrows and look at the place where he was 'hit', maybe take away the snow from it if any was left.

SPRAK It is fascinating to observe how something like this generates… "fun" to you. (Preferably, the word fun would be left in Sprak’s sentence, but he would say it as if he considers it somewhat odd or even repulsive word)

GIGERDIUS I'm sure it is.

R’DEREX Consider it as just another training exercise Sprak; helps hand coordination and reflexes.

Sprak takes an amount of snow and turns it into a “perfect” snowball. He throws it at R’Derex. It would be kind of cool to have him hit R’Derex right on the face, but we can choose chest just as well alternatively.

R’DEREX (cont.) You’re gonna pay for that!

R’Derex attempts to throw a snowball at Sprak, but Sprak manages to dodge it. He takes cover, quickly creates another “perfect” snowball and hits R’Derex again.

R’Derex starts to throw snowballs at Sprak faster.

Gigerdius, Grillka and Mora are amused.

Not long after this we hear that some possible bridge officer, like GHI’LA, says:

GHI’LA (v.o.) Captain, there's a priority one communication from the Gigerdi Alliance military.

MORA Priority one? I'm on my way, Mora out.

Mora (cont.) I’ll go and see what the alliance military has to offer now.

GIGERDIUS OK, we’ll stay here for a while.

Mora LEAVES FROM THE VIEW OF THE CAMERA, some door opening sound could be heard, it would still film a while the fighting between R’Derex, Sprak, Grillka and Mora.

Scene III “Orders” INT. Exploreison’s Bridge

Ghi’la is sitting in the captain’s chair when the door opens. VIEW CHANGES to Mora and later back to Ghi’la.

GHI’LA Admiral Nechen wants to speak with you.

MORA I’ll take it in my ready room.

GHI’LA As you wish.

INT. Ready Room

Mora comes to his ready room, sits on his chair and then presses a button on his computer. NECHEN appears on the screen.

MORA Admiral, what can I do for you?

NECHEN (On Viewscreen) Captain, I have requested the research and exploration to give you and your crew a little vacation.

MORA Well… thank you, but since when vacations had to be informed on a priority one channel?

NECHEN (On Viewscreen) There’s something else I need you to do and I wanted to give these instructions as soon as possible.

MORA What can we do?

NECHEN (On Viewscreen) As you know, our forces have greatly diminished after the Lightness war; the Interplanetary Alliance has been formed and there has been some unrest in the Donor system lately. We don’t want that system to fall into the hands of the IPA. I want you and your crew to go on a vacation there and at the same time keep your eyes open; report any unusual behavior to us, and find out what’s causing this unrest. Have you understood my instructions?

Might change view to Mora in some part.

MORA Yes, admiral. When we should proceed there?

NECHEN (On Viewscreen) Immediately if you find any unrest, resistance activity or anything else out of the ordinary, do not involve yourself or your crew in them; just inform us and we’ll take care of it. Nechen out.

GA insignia comes to the screen and Mora sits on the chair wondering.

Scene IV “Heading into the Unknown” INT. Exploreison Bridge

Mora comes in.

MORA Helm, lay in a course to the Nelron Wormhole and once we’re in the Milky Way set course to the Donor system, jump 25.

SHARON Yes, sir.

SHARON plots the course to the Donor system.

SHARON (cont.) Course plotted and laid in, sir.

MORA Engage.

EXT. Space – Exploreison Jumping

The Exploreison flies off to jump space.

INT. Exploreison Special Security Force Mess Hall

R’Derex, Sprak and T’LAR are standing in front of the holowindow and talking about the snowball fight.

R’DEREX We should do that again some time, it was fun.

SPRAK While I admit that the exercise had certain usefulness, I still find it lacking from standard training.

T’LAR Perhaps I’ll join you next time.

R’DEREX You should and Sprak this snowball fight isn’t about efficiency and making things work the best they can, but rather doing something you and others enjoy and is useful in someway at the same time. Oh and it was definitely worth it, getting you to eat snow made it more than worthwhile.

SPRAK There is a strange logic in your comments, something I have come to see from you over the years. It was a… fascinating experience. While I personally prefer standard training procedures I must admit that enjoyable ones, just as this, might prove to be more useful in the long run. And may I remind you that it was you who ate snow 64% of the time.

R’DEREX (laughs) I knew you’d understand in the end. Oh and I let you win… this time. Next time you’ll be eating snow 150% of the time.

Sprak raises his eyebrow, T’Lar and R’Derex both laugh.

SPRAK Fascinating.

T’LAR Anyway, I noticed that we jumped few minutes ago. Anyone know where we are going?

Sprak walks to the console on the wall.

SPRAK We are heading towards the Donor system.

R’DEREX Donor system? Never heard of it. Any reason why we’re going there?

SPRAK GA strategic command has ordered us on a vacation there. However, we additionally require to investigate the colony for any disturbances.

R’DEREX Suits me.

T’LAR I’m not so sure about that. They’re gonna call us back to duty soon anyway.

R’DEREX Well, few days-off is never bad, even if we have to get back to work soon after we get there.

T’LAR I have to agree that any day-off is a good one… or at least most of the time.

SPRAK The Donor system is situated in close proximity to the Federation border. The system itself has only one inhabitable planet.

R’DEREX Odd that the strategic command is even interested of that planet.

SPRAK I have to concur with you R’Derex; the system appears to be of no significance to the Gigerdi Alliance. However, there has been increased number of reports regarding resistance activity.

T’LAR Resistance activity? Isn’t that the movement that fleet admiral Justin Gron created just a few months back? Against the Section 18?

SPRAK Yes. Fleet admiral Justin Gron’s battle group “Future Imperfect” vanished close to Omirian 5, seven weeks ago. Five days afterward, the resistance movement was revealed to the public.

T’Lar and R’Derex exchange looks

SPRAK (cont.) Ever since then, both the military and Section 18 have been actively hunting the resistance members.

R’DEREX I think we got the picture already... so it seems they’re afraid of the resistance there, but still to have us investigate a system of really no importance just makes me wonder…

T’LAR Guess we need to keep our eyes open then.

R’DEREX Yeah we should be ready for anything.

Scene V “Arrival at the Unknown” EXT. Space – Exploreison Approaching Planet

The Exploreison is seen to approach the second planet in the Donor system.

INT. Exploreison Gigerdius’ Ready Room

Gigerdius comes in; Mora is sitting on his chair.

GIGERDIUS I heard we’re heading to the Donor system for a vacation. So I did some checking on the location of this Donor system and found out this.

Gigerdius presses few buttons on Mora’s desk. A 3D map of the quadrant comes to the computer screen, showing the location of the Donor system.

GIGERDIUS (cont.) Diverting to the Donor system takes us awfully close to the GA-IPA border.

MORA I don’t think it will be a problem; the IPA has been quite quiet the whole time.

GIGERDIUS I hope you’re right, but still we should be ready for a possible IPA attack.

MORA It’s always good to play it safe. We should keep monitoring the system frequently once we arrive.

Then Grillka says through the communicator

GRILLKA (v.o.) Captain, we have arrived.

MORA We’re on our way.

Gigerdius stands up from the chair.

MORA (cont.) Guess we’re already here. Drill can handle the ship after we’ve proceeded to the Donor colony.

INT. Exploreison’s Bridge

Mora and Gigerdius come in.

MORA Well, let’s go.

GRILLKA Admiral, is it wise for you to depart to the planet until we have been able to guarantee your safety there?

GIGERDIUS Don’t worry Grillka, everything should go fine and Nechen didn’t say that there would be some uprising going on the Donor colony.

GRILLKA Well, as you wish.

GHI’LA I’ve informed the government personnel of our arrival and that you’re beaming to the planet-side. They’re asking if you’re going to visit the colony officials now.

MORA Not just yet. I think it would be wise to first check out the colony before seeing any of the officials.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, agreed. The rest of you should remain here until further notice, but don’t worry we won’t be spending eternity on that planet. Sprak you should come with us as well.

Sprak leaves from his post.

SPRAK Yes, sir.

GHI’LA I’ll relay the message to them.

GRILLKA Good, we’ll be in touch.

They leave.

Scene VI "The Alleyways" EXT. Alleyways – Day

The “Main city area” of the Donor colony. We could have people walking by, doing their usual business there while the scene rolls out.

Gigerdius, Mora, Sprak, R’Derex and Grillka are walking along the street, talking.

The group walks behind a corner, and we see “Normi” quietly lurking to catch up with the Exploreison’s crew. (Note: If we have enough actors for the scene, Normi could have his “Resistance buddy” with him)

EXT. Alternate “The Alleyways End” – Day

As the Exploreison’s crew walks away from the street, we see Normi and his buddy pursuing the crew from close by.

NORMI I think we can trust them.

RESISTANCE MEMBER 2 There’s really no way of knowing, Normi.

NORMI Do we have any other choices but to ask for their help?

RESISTANCE MEMBER 2 looks worried; Normi doesn’t seem to understand that his buddy has severe doubts in trusting “The uniforms”.

NORMI (cont.) Come on, let’s go!

Normi motions with his hand to come along, resistance member 2 shakes head.

RESISTANCE MEMBER 2 No, I can’t, I’ll stay behind

Normi looks confused, not sure on staying with Resistance member 2 or running to catch up with the Exploreison’s crew.

RESISTANCE MEMBER 2 (cont.) Don’t think, just go and get help!

Normi nods to Resistance member 2, and starts to run towards the direction that the Exploreison’s crew went to.

Resistance member 2 looks behind Normi for a while, then turns around and starts to walk to the opposite directions.

(Note: all scenes marked with the alternate marking will be filmed if enough actors will be available at the current time) Consider these Alternate scenes as something of a variation of Harbinger’s “Added scenes”

EXT. Alternate “Resistance Member 2’s Death” – Day

This scene will take place outside, and could be filmed near a wall of some building.

Resistance member 2 walks along the wall of some building, he looks behind himself for a few times, he might be using this route as something of an “Escape route.”

As Resistance member 2 walks AWAY FROM THE CAMERA, we could insert a scene in which the Section 18 agents are standing on a rooftop.

EXT. “Rooftop 1” – Day

TWO DARK FIGURES are standing on a rooftop, dressed in black; they are looking around the colony.

AGENT HAND Agent Hollow, the second target is moving near the building now.

The FIRST AGENT turns his head to look at the SECOND AGENT; he might be taller than the second agent.

AGENT HOLLOW Just as I expected, its time to squash a troublesome fly.

The CAMERA COULD STAY IN ONE PLACE FOR A WHILE, the agents silently observing the city.

FADE TO:

INT. Alternate Stairs “Taking the Stairs”

Resistance member 2 walks inside the building, and reaches the stairs to someplace that he is going.

He looks around, and the CAMERA STARTS TO FILM THE TOP END OF THE STAIRS where the Section 18 agents are entering the area. The agents could be carrying rifles or something.

The Resistance member 2 prepares to walk the stairs, when the Section 18 agents suddenly appear on the stairwell.

The Resistance member 2 is horrified to see the agents, and he turns around to run away and the Section 18 agents run behind him.

INT. Alternate “Resistance member 2 dies”

The scene needs an open door that the Resistance member 2 can run through.

As the Resistance member 2 runs through the door, the Section 18 agents come quickly behind him, they aim their rifles/normal handguns.

The Resistance member 2 falls down by the shots, and AGENT HOLLOW could silently walk near the body.

AGENT HOLLOW There is no need to run; it will only prolong the inevitable

Both of the agents look around the room, AGENT HAND could walk away from the room through the same door.

Scene VII “Meeting Normi” EXT. Park – Day

We see Gigerdius, Sprak, R’Derex, Grillka and Mora around a small park, perhaps some concrete structures or something. Sprak and R’Derex could be sitting on a bench, while the others are looking around.

SPRAK Captain, the weather conditions on this colony world are quite satisfying I have to admit.

R’DEREX I have to agree with you Sprak, although I’m a bit puzzled because the weather here is nothing like on your homeplanet or on Lihter.

SPRAK It is illogical to presume that I would prefer only the weather that is on my homeworld.

GRILLKA I have to agree with Sprak on both of those things.

R’DEREX Well, I guess you’re right…

Gigerdius and Mora could be standing a bit farther away from the bench, and Mora could be pointing his finger to some distant point, perhaps showing Gigerdius some important landmark in the distance

The pair could be mumbling something to themselves, when Gigerdius would look at Sprak.

GIGERDIUS Did you say something?

Mora would still be looking towards the horizon and then state suddenly:

MORA I wonder what it would take to get a tour guide up to those hills…

At this point, the CAMERA COULD SHOW Normi RUNNING towards the position of the three.

He would stop a few paces near the three.

NORMI Are you the crew of G.A.S. Exploreison?

Normi asks, almost panicking.

The crew would look amazed yet again, how could this civilian know of their identity.

MORA Yes, I am Captain Gill Mora of the G.A.S. Exploreison, how may we help?

NORMI I need your help, some people are after me and they are going to kill me

GRILLKA Who? What people?

NORMI I don’t know, some suspicious people that have killed my friends. You have to help me!

While this conversation keeps rolling on, Sprak and R’Derex have stood up from the bench, walked a few paces away from the group, and notice something, as they would be looking at something in the roof of the nearby building.

SPRAK Captain, I can see two unidentified individuals on the roof of that structure.

R’DEREX I can see them too; who are they?

Gigerdius would walk beside Sprak at this point.

GIGERDIUS Where, Sprak?

R’Derex then points his finger towards the roof.

R’DEREX There, sir.

All of the crewmembers walk closer and notice them. They are amazed.

EXT. Rooftops Normal – Day

Two dark figures are standing on a rooftop, dressed in black; they are looking around the colony.

AGENT HAND Agent Hollow, the second target is interacting with the GA military officers.

AGENT HOLLOW We eliminated his friend; I’m not willing to terminate the other people just yet. Let’s go back and inform Dr. Coit of our mission.

AGENT HAND Very well, citizen Normi shall be dealt with later.

EXT. Park – Day

GRILLKA Whoever they are, they look slightly suspicious to me.

MORA Yeah, you’re right, but let’s try not to attract too much attention, although I think that they have detected us already.

R’DEREX Weirdest fhizzle delivery guys I’ve ever seen.

MORA What?

R’DEREX Never mind.

Sprak takes out his tricorder and starts scanning.

SPRAK Something is jamming the tricorder, but it may not be the unidentified figures that are causing it.

GIGERDIUS Anything you can get is good, but you’d better do it fast or we’ll attract too much attention.

Sprak nods and scans for a few seconds and then they all walk away.

Scene VIII “Investigating the System” INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN, FHOGLI and GHI’LA are examining the information about the Donor system. We see a screen that has some basic information about the planet. Gravitational acceleration, rotational speed, distance from sun, radius, escape velocity and mass. After it has shown the console for a while the view changes to Noaren, Fhogli and Ghi’la, while Noaren is sitting on a chair, the rest are standing.

FHOGLI So, what we got?

NOAREN The Donor colony is an M-class planet, gravitational acceleration is 9.72 m/s2 (meters/seconds squared), which makes roughly 0.98 G. Radius is 5923 km, the atmosphere is comprised of oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon dioxide among other things. Therefore, I’d say that according to these readings it’s quite a nice planet.

GHI’LA But still seems to be quite unimportant for the alliance. What resources does it have?

NOAREN Apparently, not much of anything of importance. Lot’s of carbon, silver and quicksilver, some uranium and platinum. Some mines located in the northern part of the colony.

FHOGLI Anything else in this system?

NOAREN Two other planets, both uninhabitable. One of them is desert the other one is barren. Some worthy natural resources there, but no mines. The sun is an A-type star; a white star. Surface temperature about 9 100 K.

GHI’LA Anything else?

NOAREN Two large asteroid fields are located in the system. One of ‘em seems to be impervious to any scans; the other one seems to have nothing special. The colonial defense force seems to comprise of one Barracuda class destroyer, one Tau class destroyer and one Prime class cruiser. All of them seem to be currently patrolling on the edge of the system.

FHOGLI At least the defenses aren’t so good.

GHI’LA Impervious to sensors? We should inform the higher-ups about that.

FHOGLI Good idea, but maybe we should also inform the governor of the Donor colony in case they know more about that asteroid field.

GHI’LA Agreed, we should inform the away team the next time they make contact. Are you gonna continue your scans?

NOAREN Yes, I’ll see if I can find out something more.

Ghi’la and Fhogli leave. Noaren continues to sit at the console.

FADE TO

Scene IX “Revelations” INT. The Donor Colony, House – Evening

R’Derex, Sprak, Gigerdius, Grillka and Mora along with Normi are found in a generic-looking room. This could very well be a hotel of some sort, located inside the Donor colony.

Mora is looking out of the window; we see nothing but the dark sky and a (if possible) cityscape. It is raining (if possible).

We hear a short “commentary” of the events that Mora is replaying in his head

MORA (v.o.) Captains log, stardate 7233.5

In the course of our “peacekeeping mission” to the Donor colony, we have found a civilian named Normi that seems to have gotten into trouble with questionable people; these “people” still remain a mystery despite our theories of their identity.

I have instructed Lieutenant-Commander Drill to take command of the Exploreison while Gigerdius and I are planet-side with Grillka, Mr. Sprak and R’Derex. We’ve decided to take Normi with us, since keeping him in the Exploreison just doesn’t seem like the most secure choice at the moment considering that he claims to have been chased by Gigerdians. It’s better not to take any unnecessary risks.

Gigerdius walks to the window beside Mora and Grillka, while R’Derex and Sprak listen to Normi tell his story.

GIGERDIUS So, what do you make of it?

Mora saps out of his wonderings, and looks at Gigerdius.

MORA I have no idea, but he sure does present an interesting case.

GRILLKA If it proves to be correct.

MORA Yes, if.

The TWO turn to look at Normi, and walk towards him.

Normi explains his memories to Sprak and R’Derex:

NORMI …These scientists, or some people looking very much like them got me hooked up on these machines…they injected me with something…then I passed out.

GRILLKA Excuse me, but how did these ‘people’ capture you?

NORMI I used to live here, in this city until one night they came, and took me. I’ve seen their black shuttles and all.

The group watches at each other, then back at Normi.

MORA These black shuttles, they’ve always been a silly tale that has circulated around these parts, now hasn’t it?

NORMI No, I’ve seen them. I escaped in one of these shuttles from a station of some sort in the asteroid field.

Normi’s story seems to confuse the group even more; perhaps Gigerdius and Mora along with R’Derex are starting to doubt the story, since it truly seems quite unbelievable.

GIGERDIUS If these things you’ve told us are true, this might suggest that the people, who kidnapped you and illegally conducted some sorts of tests on you, have major support behind them – from whatever source.

MORA Whoever they might be is a big question. I can think of all sorts of really wild possibilities, still.

GIGERDIUS I believe that something like that might be happening here as well. It’s better that we meet with the colony’s officials and ask them to do an official inquiry on this matter.

MORA Agreed, we shall meet with the governor first thing in the morning. Besides, we are yet to make a visit to the man in charge.

As Normi along with Sprak and R’Derex leave to carry on with their tasks, Gigerdius, Grillka and Mora are left alone in the room.

GIGERDIUS That man had quite a story to tell.

GRILLKA And if you ask me, this thing definitely falls into the “unusual” category. Personally, I think it’s worth investigating.

GIGERDIUS I agree, we should inform Sharon, Fhogli, Ghi’la and T’Lar to join the investigations as well.

GRILLKA I’ll go and inform them about the current situation and see if they have found out something about this system.

Grillka leaves.

MORA I hope that the strategic command won’t mind if we start investigating this thing on our own. Somehow stories like these have always interested me.

GIGERDIUS Somehow, I think that even if we were to tell them about this, they wouldn’t do anything about it. As we have no evidence yet.

MORA Yeah, you’re right about that and you’d think the Lightness war had taught them something.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, unfortunately it didn’t.

MORA Anyway, I don’t really know what to think of Normi at the moment. What if this is just a sick joke of some kind?

GIGERDIUS Yes, but we saw people that were very much interested of this man’s capture. Surely, someone wants him, but perhaps due to different reasons.

MORA Yes, that particular experience we had still makes me wonder. The ones chasing him were Gigerdian in origin

GIGERDIUS They indeed were Gigerdian, but we can’t make any assumptions yet…

MORA Nevertheless, it makes me wonder on one thing; just who are these people?

EXT. Space – System’s Sun Setting

We see the system’s sun setting…

INT. The Donor Colony, House – Evening

Sprak, R’Derex and Normi enter another room in the house. R’Derex turns to Sprak.

R’DEREX This sounds the biggest hoax I’ve heard since someone claimed that the space potatoes were coming to destroy the universe.

SPRAK I agree, but we have to scrutinize all possibilities.

R’DEREX You sure he isn’t drugged or anything? Wouldn’t be a surprise.

SPRAK I did find something unusual in the bio-readings, but nothing that would explain an intoxicated behavior. I have to inform Deket/Moroop about my findings.

R’DEREX Can you sense anything with your telepathic abilities?

SPRAK Something, but only feelings that he believes it is correct; however, I cannot be certain.

R’DEREX I have a bad feeling about this. This could get ugly and we might involve ourselves into something we shouldn’t. Strategic command did say that we need to be discreet.

SPRAK You are correct, but we still need to investigate.

R’DEREX Yeah… I knew this wouldn’t be an easy assignment; we never get those, no matter how hard you’d wish.

R’Derex turns towards Normi.

R’DEREX How did you escape?

NORMI It was a bit tricky. Fortunately there was a momentary power loss in my cell block and I was able to get out just in time. There was also little amount of guards, guess they thought no one could get out anyway, so I didn’t have so much trouble avoiding them. Getting out was still hard, fortunately they seemed to have some trouble with the power systems at that time so I was able to sneak aboard one of their ships heading to here. Unfortunately, they noticed me when I was leaving from the ship and the chase began, but fortunately I was able to find you before they got me.

R’DEREX Your story sounds to have more holes than a Texian customs checkpoint.

SPRAK I have to agree with Mr. R’Derex. Your story does not sound very plausible.

NORMI I know, but it’s the truth.

R’DEREX I guess we have to put up with this stuff for now. A bad idea if you ask me.

SPRAK This may prove to be worth it.

R’DEREX I certainly hope so, does sound more plausible than those killer potatoes, though.

Scene X “The Report” EXT. Space – Section 18 Station

A small, black shuttle quickly moves towards the orbiting space station located on the outer fringes of the Donor colony. The station is not cloaked at this time.

The shuttle lands to the hangar, but we don’t need to show that probably…

INT. Section 18 Research Facility

The three agents walk out of the hangar and to a “hallway” sort of a place, we should consider on finding a factory-type of a setting.

A MAN in a white lab coat waits them; he has long hair (if possible) and some sort of an ID tag on his coat. Agent Hand stops in front of the lab coated man with the other agents on his side.

DR. COIT And so they returned, empty-handed…

The group of agents looks uneasy, besides Agent Hand.

AGENT HAND Dr. Coit, we have eliminated a citizen by the name of Grelan Tugor, subject 683 was interacting with other people.

DR. COIT does not look happy, and turns his head to the side.

DR. COIT I expected you to fail. However, since I am not interested in your lame excuses I am going to let you have another go, do you understand?

The group replies in unison: GROUP Yes, sir.

DR. COIT Good, now it would surely be a lot better for us all that you eliminate subject 683 as quickly as possible, yes?

AGENT HAND Sir, might I add that the target has acquired support from a group of GA military personnel. They may be protecting them, or just interested to hear his story, whether or not they actually believe it.

Dr. Coit looks like he has heard something new, something that presents a direct threat to him and his research.

DR. COIT You eliminated his friend, and now he has acquired new ones…

AGENT HOLLOW It is important at this stage that we order Governor Degrassi to make up some ideas of why all of these stories are popping up…

DR. COIT Perhaps it would be better to get that worthless piece of scum governor to work again. I remember the effort he put on after we took the first batch of test subjects from the city…

Dr. Coit starts to laugh at his own words while the agents look somewhat amazed.

DR. COIT (cont.) That worthless scum actually told the press that the amount of over a hundred people got lost during an expedition!

Dr. Coit laughs like a maniac, while the agents are starting feel a bit uneasy.

DR. COIT (cont.) Yes, not to mention that we had to terminate the first batch over a critical error in the vaccines that we injected into them…

Agent Hand is about to say something, when Dr. Coit again returns to his normal self.

DR. COIT (cont.) But seriously, I’d be much more satisfied if you were to go and see the governor in person; we can put the “fear of god” in him, as the humans say…

The agents nod to the scientist and leave, while Dr. Coit stays behind…

FADE TO

Scene XI “Status Update” EXT. Streets – Evening

Grillka is standing on the streets; she presses her communicator.

GRILLKA Grillka to Exploreison. Anything to report?

INT. Exploreison Bridge

GHI’LA Yes there is. We did some scanning of this system and found an asteroid field that’s impervious to any scans.

EXT. Streets – Evening

GRILLKA Interesting…

GHI’LA (v.o.) Should we inform the governor before we do anything?

GRILLKA Maybe we should, but for now it may not be good to start barging into that asteroid field. I’m sure it has been investigated multiple times already. Do you have anything else to report?

INT. Exploreison Bridge

GHI’LA We have nothing more to report at this time.

GRILLKA (v.o.) In that case, we need you, Sharon, Fhogli, and T’Lar to join us here on the planet. It might be good to have some backup here since we made some very… peculiar encounter.

GHI’LA Understood, anything else we should know about?

EXT. Streets – Evening

GRILLKA I’d rather not tell any more here, you get more information once you get here. We’ll rendezvous with you at the landing site tomorrow morning at 1100 hours. We’ll be staying here on the planet-side for a bit longer.

GHI’LA (v.o.) OK, we’ll be there.

GRILLKA Oh and one other thing… inform the colony officials that we’ll be visiting the governor tomorrow morning, sometimes at 1030 hours.

GHI’LA (v.o.) Alright, I’ll inform them immediately.

GRILLKA Good, Grillka out.

Scene XII ”Planning” EXT. The Rooftop – Morning

The THREE AGENTS stand on top of a tall building, like they’ve done in the previous scenes.

AGENT THUNDER Sir, I have informed the governor’s staff that we are going to meet the governor in three hours.

AGENT HAND Yes, good.

Agent Hand and AGENT THUNDER eye each other, they are obviously trying to say something, and until Agent Hollow opens his mouth to speak.

AGENT HOLLOW Sir, I think we should consider on requesting a transfer after this matter has been dealt with.

Agent Hand looks surprised while the CAMERA PANS TO VIEW the two agents from in front of Agent Hand.

AGENT HAND I loathe the good doctor, not just because he thinks that our kind is expendable, but for other reasons as well.

AGENT HOLLOW I don’t understand, sir?

AGENT HAND That man thinks that he can order us around, make us their servants that jump at their every command. He is badly mistaken, I can tell you.

AGENT HOLLOW Sir, I completely agree with you

AGENT HAND Do you see all of this?

Agent Hand gestures with his hand, both of the other agents observe.

AGENT HAND All this filth will be gone in a few years, and something new created in its place. Something better, which we control instead of these people that know nothing besides exploitation of our special gifts.

The OTHER AGENTS nod sympathetically.

AGENT HAND (cont.) Don’t worry; after we eliminate the current problem at hand everything will be fine again. Who knows, perhaps we’ll take care of the good doctor as well…

The group stands in the roof…

Scene XIII “The Throne of Governor Degrassi” EXT. Outside the Government Building – Morning

We see Mora, Gigerdius, Sprak, R’Derex, Grillka and Normi (insert additional character if needed) reach the Governor’s office building’s exterior. (If we have the guts, we could film this near an office building or something)

INT. Government Building

GRILLKA I expected the governor to have aides waiting for us here.

GIGERDIUS Seems like he isn’t much concerned on our arrival.

MORA Let’s just go to see him, we don’t need any welcoming parties anyway.

The group nods to each other, and proceed to walk inside the building.

(One of the best places to probably film the office complex scenes would be the place in Itäkeskus)

The group walks along the hallways, and we see people passing by. There could be some sorts of “artwork” pieces on the walls, and there could be armed guards as well.

The group reaches the office of the governor, where Mora motions Sprak, Grillka and R’Derex to stay behind with Normi.

INT. The Governor’s Office

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI sits in his office, while writing something down. He looks like a corrupted politician who’d sell his own mother for money and ask for seconds.

The door to his office is open, and Mora knocks on it lightly. The Governor notices the two men. He puts on a fake smile.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Ah yes, hello, welcome!

Mora and Gigerdius walk to the table and nod.

MORA Good morning, governor. I am Captain Gill Mora of the G.A.S. Exploreison and this is the ship’s ambassador and advisor Vice-Admiral Gigerdius.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Yes, yes, so good to see you all here…

MORA This is a very interesting colony you have here.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Thank you, may I offer some refreshments?

The Governor seems a bit fuzzy in his movements; he acts like someone who tries to divert attention away from something plainly in sight. Or perhaps he is just afraid of GA military personnel acting on his “turf”.

MORA No thank you, we have something to bring to your attention, first of all.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Hmm… what is it?

MORA It’s best that I let Mr. Gigerdius brief you.

The Governor turns to look at Gigerdius, as he begins to speak.

GIGERDIUS We have a man in the lobby of this building claiming that someone is hunting him after he escaped from some sort of a facility located in this system. We have verified to a high degree that what this man speaks of is the truth.

The Governor has heard of the same story before, but he tries to act surprised.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI No, that cannot be right under any circumstances. I have never heard of anything like of it here before, this is a peaceful colony and we have no such troubles here.

Mora and Gigerdius look at each other, surprised.

GIGERDIUS I see.

MORA Mr. Governor, we have seen these attackers and they look like people that are very much capable of such acts.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Pirates… pirates, yes pirates…

Gigerdius and Mora eye each other again.

MORA Excuse me, sir?

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Yes, clearly pirates are behind these acts… they are the cancer of this society… they must be destroyed… I have dealt with them before… the guilty ones shall be prosecuted in the highest degree…. huge losses…

As the Governor starts to babble his rhetorical nonsense Mora cuts in.

MORA With all due respect, we demand that you start an immediate investigation of this matter or we’ll have to inform the strategic command.

The governor stops with his babbling and goes dead serious again, but manages to put on a fake smile.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI That won’t be necessary, we’ll begin our own investigations, I was just about to suggest that myself now. You shall talk with my security chief from the colonial defense forces, now he is wise man and can answer all of your questions…

GIGERDIUS It would be very helpful if you could direct us to his presence, yes.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI I shall order my secretary to ask him to arrive to my office immediately…

The Governor pushes a button on his desk and clears his throat.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI (cont.) Yes, if you could direct Mr. Anner to my office right now, thank you…

In a few moments, LIEUTENANT ANNER (a Gigerdian male; I guess a human could do as well, but let’s keep the Gigerdian as a priority) arrives to the office wearing a camouflage BDU suit (since he is in the colonial defense forces) and nods to the group.

Note- he does not salute.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI (cont.) This is Lieutenant Anner, he is my security attaché from the colonial defense forces and you can bring any and all of your troubles to his attention.

MORA Very well, we shall brief him of our situation then.

GIGERDIUS Thank you for your efforts, Mr. Governor.

As Mora and Gigerdius exit the offices in order to follow Mr. Anner to the hallway Governor Degrassi happily waves his hand behind the group

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Yes! Please come back if you need any more help, I am always here!

As the door shuts behind the group, the Governor sighs heavily.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI (cont.) Whew… it’s a tough job on trying to be everyone’s friend.

The Governor opens a desk drawer, takes out a ”Taskumatti” and takes a long swig out of it.

Scene XIV “Office Hallway” INT. Office Hallway

Gigerdius and Mora (including Mr. Anner) start to walk along the hallway and nod to Sprak, Grillka and R’Derex to follow along with Normi.

The group walks back to the way they originally came from and stop to a pre-marked spot some distance away from the governor’s office.

MR. ANNER Before you people tell me anything more I just want to tell you that I’m pretty sure of the things you’re gonna tell me. It’s just that this is the first time that someone from the outside has bothered to check in on it.

MORA What do you mean?

MR. ANNER The same pattern all the time. A group of people goes missing; the local press gets a half-assed comment from the governor and is satisfied with it. Case closed.

GRILLKA So, what you are saying is that citizens are going missing regularly in this colony?

MR. ANNER Yeah, that’s the situation, but I can’t tell you anything else. “The walls have ears” as the humans say… And until now the GA government itself hasn’t been concerned with our situation.

MORA But to get to the subject, we have a certain Mr. Normi here that is a citizen of this colony. He claims that a group of suspicious people is chasing him.

GRILLKA We have seen these “attackers” as well and they seem to be Gigerdian in origin. This of course raises some questions, mainly because Mr. Normi also told us that he escaped from a holding facility of some sort before these events started.

Mr. Anner eyes at the group for a second, then replies.

MR. ANNER We had a bit similar case few years ago, where this human male arrived to the northern police station and babbled about “someone was hunting him”; a group of Gigerdians picked him up a day later.

NORMI A….a... uhm, a group of people dressed in black?

MR. ANNER What?

NORMI They usually come in pairs or small groups, almost never alone, right?

MR. ANNER Umm, yes as a matter a fact. There were two of them that time.

MORA There is something very odd going on in here and somehow I doubt that the governor will be much of a help to us. However, I don’t think the strategic command is gonna believe us at this stage, so I guess more detailed investigation should be in order.

GIGERDIUS I agree. We need to begin our searching of the colony immediately.

The group nods and starts to walk away from the screen (maybe they are walking to the elevator or something).

MR. ANNER Hey, you’ll keep me posted, right!?

Scene XV “Agents Arrive” INT. Governor’s Office

The Governor is sitting in his office, and slowly stands up from his chair and walks to the window; he looks out from it for a while until he sees something…

The three agents are walking into the entrance of the building, and are just about to enter the office complex.

The Governor gasps in horror, quickly paces to his table and shouts into the inter-com device.

GOVERNOR DEGRASSI Lock the main lobby at once! I want no one to enter it!

(NOTE: by doing this, the Governor thinks that he can lure the Exploreison-people to the lobby and make the agents trap Normi)

Scene XVI “Lobby Brawl” INT. Lobby

As the group of Exploreison crewmembers along with Normi walk to the hallway, Mora and R’Derex are talking.

MORA It would probably be for the best if you were to request additional firearms to us all here since we might encounter those attackers again…

R’DEREX Yes sir, I’ll inform the Exploreison’s security once we return to the hotel.

Just as the crew glances to the door, the agents are in front of them, the time seems to be frozen for a split second until both sides realize their targets. The agents (naturally) pull out their guns out in unison (you know, Matrix style).

The EXPLOREISON PEOPLE stand back.

AGENT HAND You will release the human male into our custody at once or we will open fire, do you understand?

MORA This “Human male” is under our protection and if any harm comes to him you will surely regret it!

AGENT HOLLOW We are not going to ask you officers again, now release the subject into our custody or we must resort to less-civilized means to acquire him.

GIGERDIUS We are officers of the Gigerdi Alliance military; you cannot order us around without some kind of authorization.

Suddenly, R’Derex pulls out a gun and aims it at Agent Thunder that is standing on the left side of Agent Hand.

Both of the sides are caught on a stalemate…

AGENT THUNDER You pathetic uniforms! Release the human now!

Once Agent Thunder has said this R’Derex opens fire at Agent Thunder who is hit square in the chest and falls to the floor while the two other agents immediately return fire.

The Exploreison-group scatters around the both corners of the hallway while R’Derex stays in the hallway’s “center” and furiously (Come on, the Chinese guy knows Kung-fu so he can dodge the shots as well!!) dodges the shots while returning fire.

At this time, Agent Thunder rises from the floor while Agent Hand quickly glances towards the position that Agent Thunder was previously laying.

Agent Hand quickly walks towards R’Derex while R’Derex is too busy fending off the other agents and grabs him by his uniform and throws him backward. At this point we could have a sort of unarmed fighting between R’Derex and one of the agents.

The rest of the group is separated into two sections both behind two walls and the hallway in the middle (storyboard-opportunity!) with Gigerdius and Normi on the other side, and Mora with Grillka on the other.

(This is what it should look like at this exact point)

MORA Gigerdius, get Normi out of here!

Gigerdius nods and they start to half-run half-crawl their way away from the hall.

Agent Hand walks to R’Derex and points a gun at him, and is just about to fire…

AGENT HAND No! Don’t kill him yet, the less collateral damage the better.

AGENT HOLLOW Ah yes, good point.

The view cuts to Mora and Grillka that retreat to the other side of the hallway as well. MORA Grillka, we have to get out of here and fast!

GRILLKA Yeah, those people won’t be sticking around the lobby forever!

Mora and Grillka run towards The agents walk to the “intersection” and glance at both sides (This is what it should look like at this exact point)

AGENT HOLLOW It seems they are gone…

AGENT HAND No they are not! Spread out and kill the subject and the people with him!

All of the agents spread out with Agent Hand going with Agent Thunder and Agent Hollow continuing the hunt alone…

FADE

Scene XVII “Where Are They?” EXT. Rendezvous Point – Morning

Sharon, Fhogli, Ghi’la and T’Lar are waiting at the rendezvous point and are getting frustrated because Gigerdius AND PALS haven’t arrived yet.

T’LAR What’s taking so long?

Ghi’la presses her communicator

GHI’LA Ghi’la to Gigerdius… admiral, you copy?

FHOGLI Communications are down for some reason. Sharon, you picking up any jamming or something that might disrupt the signal?

Sharon takes out his tricorder and starts scanning around for sometime.

SHARON No, I’m not picking up anything that could possibly disrupt the signal in any way.

GHI’LA Ghi’la to Exploreison.

NOAREN (v.o.) Noaren here.

GHI’LA We have a bit troubling situation here, as the admiral and the rest of the crew with him haven’t arrived to the rendezvous point and we can’t contact them with our communicators either. So, any chance you could scan the planet to determine their location?

INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Of course lieutenant.

She does some scanning on the planet and in a few seconds already locates them.

NOAREN I have located them.

EXT. Rendezvous Point – Morning

NOAREN (v.o.) They are currently in the government office; I’m sending you the information needed for you to find it.

GHI’LA Thanks, Ghi’la out.

SHARON I have received the information, it’s this way.

Sharon points to some direction, depends where we’ll shoot this. They’ll start walking to that direction then.

Scene XVIII “Crew Hunting Continues” EXT. Colony Centrum – Morning

The scene begins with Mora, Grillka and Sprak stopping to their tracks on a gray looking office yard or something.

The group looks around, searching for the mysterious attackers with their eyes.

MORA They didn’t follow us?

GRILLKA With all due respect, I doubt we’ve seen them for the last time.

Suddenly, Agent Hollow appears before them. She pulls out his weapon and immediately opens fire.

MORA Take cover, now!

The group scatters yet again to both sides of the walkway, but Agent Hollow is way ahead of them and is already standing in front of Mora who quickly gets up from the pave way and punches the agent automatically.

The agent looks a bit amazed. Since obviously you need more than just punches to knock out one of these things…

AGENT HOLLOW I suppose that was meant to hurt, now wasn’t it?

The agent grabs Mora, harmlessly throws him back to the ground and turns for Grillka and Sprak.

She looks at the both while they stand up from the ground. Grillka steps behind Sprak while both of them hold defensive postures.

Agent Hollow looks at them for a split second; she obviously realizes that these three do not carry her target with them. She grins mysteriously and turns away.

Agent Hollow suddenly beams out of the area, leaving the three crewmembers standing alone on the spot.

MORA What the hell was that about? That thing had us but didn’t…

(Maybe someone can add a sarcastic comment from Sprak here)

SPRAK It’s unwise to contemplate such matter while more pressing matters should be concerned. We should call for assistance and head to assist admiral and Normi.

GRILLKA Let’s go!

The group starts to jog away and towards the direction they came from.

Meanwhile…

We see Gigerdius running along a similar office yard with Normi.

The CAMERA SUDDENLY PANS TO SHOW a rooftop close to the yard, where the two remaining agents are standing.

Gigerdius and Normi stop. They both look around, fearing that the agents may turn up from anywhere.

Suddenly the two agents are in front of them (maybe there’s about 10 meters between them) and pull out their guns…. they aim carefully…

AGENT THUNDER Agent Hollow, we have identified the target and are ready to eliminate him.

Agent Thunder speaks to a communicator of some sort, but it doesn’t have to be shown at all. Gigerdius realizes that he can’t win this fight and he can’t run either.

Gigerdius looks at the agents with Normi on his side, when the agents suddenly decide to walk closer to the men.

AGENT HAND This is a dead-end…

Suddenly weapons fire erupts behind the agents, and Agent Hand falls to the ground while Agent Thunder looks amazed. Agent Thunder is then shot and falls to the ground.

Grillka and Mora aim their rifles from behind the two agents; apparently, they have called the ship to quickly beam weapons to them minutes ago.

MORA Gigerdius! Normi! Come on! We have to go!

Gigerdius nods and starts to run with Normi to the opposite end of the “yard” where Mora and Grillka along with Sprak are situated.

SPRAK Admiral, I believe that Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex is missing.

GRILLKA Yes, Gigerdius, I think he’s still in that hallway. A security team should be on its way though, both there and here.

GIGERDIUS I can’t leave one of my crewmembers behind, but the safety of Normi comes first at the moment I’m afraid. We’ll have to let the others to retrieve him.

MORA Those agents won’t be lying there forever. We should leave this place at once! (I know this isn’t the best comment available but I’ll think of something better for it soon.)

MORA (Alternatively) We should safeguard Normi and those agents may get reinforcements soon so we better get out of here.

SPRAK (Alternatively) We cannot beam out here, a jamming field is present.

MORA (Alternatively) Then we have to go to a clean place.

The group starts to jog away from the scene.

Scene XIX “Reincarnation” EXT. Colony Centrum – Morning The bodies of the two agents lay on the pave way. Suddenly they stand up like nothing would’ve happened.

Agent Hollow suddenly walks up to them from the direction behind them.

AGENT HOLLOW Well, it seems this hunt has upgraded itself to a totally new level.

AGENT THUNDER Sir, we still have that Folan security officer in our custody. It’s about time to find out who are those military officers meddling into our affairs.

AGENT HOLLOW Yes, it’s time to bring him in for questioning.

AGENT HAND I have requested for a shuttle. It should arrive in 5 minutes.

AGENT HOLLOW We should depart from this area immediately. Those people may have called for backup.

AGENT THUNDER Indeed. I feel some people approaching…

The agents leave the area.

FADE

EXT. Outside the Government Building or Simply Streets – Morning

Sharon, Ghi’la, Fhogli and T’Lar have arrived at the government building. T’Lar presses her communicator.

T’LAR T’Lar to Gigerdius.

GIGERDIUS (v. o.) Gigerdius here. Good to hear your voice lieutenant.

T’LAR Yours too sir. We lost contact with you for quite a while.

EXT. Streets – Morning GIGERDIUS We had some trouble here, but we’ll tell you about it later. Where are you now?

T’LAR (v. o.) At the government building.

GIGERDIUS Then retrieve R’Derex from there, we were separated and he might still be inside. After that, report back to the Exploreison.

EXT. Outside the Government Building or Simply Streets – Morning

T’LAR Yes, sir. We’ll be there. T’Lar out.

SHARON I’m not picking up R’Derex’s life-signs.

Then they hear the sound of a ship departing and they look up. A SECTION 18 INFILTRATOR is leaving from behind the building.

GHI’LA Guess they beat us to it.

T’LAR It’s not sure yet, let’s check out the inside.

GHI’LA I’ll still inform the Exploreison, in case they can trace that ship.

INT. Lobby

They enter the lobby and look around. Mr. Anner is there.

SHARON I’m picking up traces of weapons fire. There was definitely a fight here.

MR. ANNER Sirs, may I help you?

T’LAR As a matter of fact you can. We’re looking for one member of our crew; we were told he should be here.

MR. ANNER Yes… that… Folan security officer. He was wounded and was taken for treatment.

T’LAR By whom and where?

MR. ANNER By a group of Gigerdians, I think they took him to the nearest hospital.

SHARON What exactly happened here?

MR. ANNER Personally I wasn’t here when this happened, but according to the security logs the internal defenses just went crazy and started shooting everything here. Once I got here it was all over already and the Folan security officer was wounded on the floor. Fortunately he was taken for a treatment.

T’LAR Thank you. I think that’ll be all. We’ll check out the hospital now.

MR. ANNER Alright; contact me if you need any help.

They leave from the lobby.

EXT. Outside the Government Building or Simply Streets – Morning

Either they are standing on the streets or they are coming from the building.

FHOGLI Well, I’d say that either he doesn’t know what truly happened or he isn’t telling it.

T’LAR Yeah, but for now there’s nothing we can do down here. Let’s check that hospital if he’s really in there and then head back to the Exploreison.

GHI’LA That ship cloaked as soon as it got 50 km of the surface.

T’LAR Damn.

SHARON Nevertheless, we’d better get going now, there’s really nothing left for us to do here.

They start walking away.

EXT. Colony Centrum – Morning

A security detachment arrives at the location the agents were previously laying. No one’s there. The security personnel look around for sometime and do some searching of the area, they use the tricorder as well. One of the officers, who has a tricorder, then presses her communicator.

ENSIGN HOLLER Security detachment to Admiral Gigerdius, sir we’ve searched the coordinates you provided, but found no trace of the people that attacked you.

INT. Exploreison Transporter Room

Mora, Gigerdius, Grillka and Sprak have arrived at the ship, but are still only at the transporter room when they receive the signal.

GRILLKA It appears they got up pretty quickly then, although we certainly didn’t use any low-setting.

GIGERDIUS See if you can find any trace of them. If you can’t find anything, then return to the ship.

ENSIGN HOLLER (v.o.) Aye, sir.

MORA I think it would be wise to send some more teams to search the surrounding areas to see if there’s anything, although I think that whoever those people are, they’re gone already.

SPRAK Additionally, it might be wise to see if there is any trace of those cloaked ships and to observe if some communications have been sent to somewhere during this time.

GRILLKA Agreed. One thing is certain, though. Whoever those people are, they aren’t mundane, not even close.

Scene XX “Interrogation” INT. S18 “Space Station”, Interrogation Room

We see a completely white room. The room includes a table (white also, probably) and a couple of chairs (at least one is required).

Mr. R’Derex is tied to a chair located behind the table. We hear the sound of a door opening, and R’Derex suddenly wakes up from his slumber. We see the three agents enter the room.

R’Derex looks puzzled when he sees his attackers this close.

AGENT HOLLOW Mr. R’Derex, GA military Registration number 421-857C.

R’DEREX Huh? Good thing at least someone remembers that number. You got anything to my headache? Feels like it’s gonna blow up anytime soon.

AGENT HOLLOW Currently assigned to: The G.A.S. Exploreison.

R’DEREX Who are you people? This is the weirdest welcoming committee I’ve ever seen. I hope you are aware that you are holding an officer of the GA military prisoner!

AGENT HOLLOW …Captain of the G.A.S. Exploreison: Gill Mora…

AGENT THUNDER Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex, we apologize for this little “inconvenience” that has happened. We had to verify your identity and position in the GA military. That is why you are being held here…

R’DEREX Where are the rest of the crewmembers? And what do you want of that civilian you were chasing around? Desperately trying to get an autograph?

The agents look at each other, and nod silently.

AGENT HOLLOW Mr. R’Derex, you yourself along with your crew have fell victim to a rather unfortunate, but nevertheless a calculated lie.

AGENT HAND Yes, you should’ve never believed what this “Normi”-person had told you, since he himself is a member of a known terrorist organization with the intension to destroy our beloved alliance and create chaos.

R’Derex eyes Agent Hand who now stands in front of him.

Suggested comments: R’DEREX What makes you think I believe him? I certainly don’t believe every story some backwater colony dweller tells me. Otherwise I’d believe that the potatoes would be trying to take over the galaxy.

Suggested comments: AGENT HAND Good… then there is certainly hope for you yet…

AGENT HOLLOW Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex, I suppose you haven’t heard of an organization simply called “The Resistance”, now have you?

R’DEREX I have heard something about it. Could use a better name though.

AGENT HOLLOW The members of this organization are responsible of numerous terrorist attacks targeted against the government. In other words, they are not very nice or law-abiding citizens.

AGENT THUNDER Why do you think this “Normi” kept quiet of his activities? Perhaps because if you had known the truth, you would have arrested this criminal at once. After all, you are all officers loyal to the GA military.

AGENT HAND Duty comes first, I believe.

Agent Hand smiles to R’Derex.

R’DEREX Hmm, I see… but not sure do you; why keep those sunglasses in here? You’ve been too long in a closet with no lights?

AGENT THUNDER Do not worry. I believe that even the best have been deceived by this “resistance”-organization.

AGENT HAND What your captain has been ordered to do while being influenced by this “Normi” is completely understandable. You did not know the truth, and so this unfortunate matter happened.

R’DEREX Wait a minute; you speak of terrorist organizations that are misleading my fellow crewmembers and so on. But, who are you people then? I hope not the tourist bureau, or this is the worst treatment I’ve seen from them.

The agents look at each other again, and silently nod.

AGENT HOLLOW The name of our superiors is not important. However, I can tell you that both the GA government and our superiors want to catch these terrorists from doing any harm in the future such as badly as you yourself do. Am I correct, yes?

AGENT THUNDER Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated, Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex.

R’Derex looks around the room, and then looks at the agents again. The agents look back at him.

R’DEREX Look, I need to speak with my captain right away. I can’t and I won’t make decisions like these based on just one opinion and your opinions don’t count, sorry…

Agent Hand cuts into R’Derex’s speech suddenly.

AGENT HOLLOW Lieutenant R’Derex, we certainly…

R’Derex is obviously quite frustrated, so he interrupts Agent Hand in turn.

R’DEREX I’m not finished yet! You’d better start cutting me out of this chair soon since, whether you admit it or not, you’re holding me prisoner and pretty soon there’s going to be a dozen other military officers looking for me! And I certainly won’t be very cooperative as long as I’m tied in this chair. Can’t I even have something to drink? (If anyone else has a better idea for this comment, change it ASAP)

AGENT HOLLOW I think not, Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex. It is quite sad to see a man of your intellect waste his resources defending something that will soon be destroyed. Luckily, you have a choice and have just exercised it…

AGENT THUNDER We, in turn shall also exercise ours.

The agents close in on R’Derex, and somehow gesture towards R’Derex (using their telepathic powers).

We hear R’Derex scream…

FADE

Scene XXI “Investigations” INT. Exploreison Holodeck, Road - Night

Grillka is walking, in the night, along some small road. She seems to be in her thoughts, worrying about someone. Soon she stops and looks at the stars. Not long after that Gigerdius and Mora come in.

GIGERDIUS Grillka, what are you doing here?

She turns to face them.

GRILLKA Just needed to clear my thoughts, although I haven’t been very successful about that.

GIGERDIUS Thought so. You’re worrying about R’Derex?

GRILLKA Yes… I can’t believe they took him, maybe even killed him.

MORA I guess we have the same thoughts then.

GIGERDIUS We should’ve never left him in that lobby… I can’t believe we chose the life of a stranger before R’Derex.

MORA I hope we did the right thing, and didn’t cause his death. Hopefully saving Normi will actually mean something.

GRILLKA That doesn’t really make me feel any better.

GIGERDIUS Me neither. But I think the best course of action now would be to find him and rescue him. Mourning his loss doesn’t help us much.

MORA Agreed. We need to find and rescue him. I doubt highly that they’ve killed him, he’s much more valuable alive.

GRILLKA I just hope he won’t be tortured…

MORA Normi should be safe here at least, for now.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, but I can’t help, but wonder that what are those people after him? They certainly aren’t any ‘normal’ people; best guess is probably that they are engineered. Maybe nanotechnology or genetic engineering… or both.

GRILLKA And they seem to be equipped with some VERY advanced technology.

GIGERDIUS Yeah… and somehow I don’t think it would be wise to inform the strategic command now. Call me paranoid or something, but I believe that not even the strategic command can be trusted now.

MORA I have to agree, but at some point we probably have to inform them about this whole situation.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, but until we know accurately who’s behind this, what they’re doing and all, we should keep this low profile.

GRILLKA Hopefully Sprak will come up with some suspects; unfortunately we cannot confirm any of those.

SPRAK (v.o.) Admiral and captain, I have discovered some information that could be linked to these people chasing Mr. Normi.

MORA We’re on our way.

INT. Exploreison Conference Room

Sprak is standing in front of the holoscreen. DRILL, Sharon, Fhogli, Noaren, T’Lar and Ghi’la are already present, although probably won’t be seen as a whole group. Mora, Grillka and Gigerdius come in.

GIGERDIUS Seems like everyone is here, let’s get started then.

SPRAK Yes, sir… First of all, after I examined our tricorder details of the anonymous people I made a rather disturbing discovery. It appears there was no jamming field present ever, but rather the anonymous people were the jammers themselves.

GRILLKA What do you mean exactly?

SPRAK Whatever these people carry seems to distort the tricorder signals, making them unable to scan anything in detail. However, small amounts of data were still recovered which allowed me to figure this out. What they carry, I do not know.

MORA So we’re definitely dealing with something powerful.

GIGERDIUS Agreed, but lets get on with the suspects.

Sprak presses few buttons on his pad, which changes the holoscreen’s picture. A list of possible suspects appears to the screen.

SPRAK (cont.) Like the governor stated, pirates are one of the possible suspects along with mercenaries. However, these groups presumably would not have enough resources to maintain this kind of operation here. It also eludes me, what possible purpose it could serve to them to be situated in as remote place as this. Still, both of those parties might be responsible for this, but if no more information comes available, they should not be the first suspects.

MORA It was obvious that the governor was lying; he must be dealing with these people in someway. Besides, since Anner’s and the Governor’s information both collide with each other it’s highly possible that pirates aren’t behind this.

GIGERDIUS So, who are the most likely suspects?

SPRAK Government or military employees are suspects that are more probable.

NOAREN That is quite heavy accusation, sir.

SPRAK I am aware of that lieutenant. However, with the little information available I cannot be of certain about them either.

Sprak presses few buttons on his pad and the holoscreen’s image changes to the possible military and government branches.

SPRAK The first suspect is the military itself, as the purposes of this research would fit into their category. However, as to why they sent us here in the first place. There are numerous possibilities, like only partial part of the military knows about this.

NOAREN I’m having hard time believing that, sir.

MORA We must consider all possibilities lieutenant.

NOAREN Of course, sir.

SPRAK Military intelligence then comes second. Although the organization does not much exist any longer, it still has some operations going on. Next is the Section 18. This organization is relatively new, but would still fit into this as they have rumored to have a number of abnormal operations.

FHOGLI I doubt that they could have anything to do with this.

NOAREN I have to admit that it is more likely them than the military.

SHARON I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

MORA Go on Sprak.

SPRAK Other possibilities are the Research and Exploration division as they are specialized in research and it is research that they are conducting here.

GRILLKA Just not the kind of research I’d expect them to do.

SPRAK The second last one is the government itself; however, I have been unable to ascertain why they would be doing something like this.

GHI’LA Well, if you ask me, governments have always been this sort of.

T’LAR Except not in our history.

MORA Well, Folans are one of the few exceptions, considering what has been made available is true.

SPRAK Which brings me to the last suspects. The last suspects and perhaps the most unlikely ones are other races. They may simply be trying to frame some of our own organizations.

FHOGLI I think it’s the other races; can’t think any of our own would do something like this…

NOAREN With all due respect, sirs, I’m having difficult in believing that other races could so easily operate in our borders, even in such a backwoods colony.

DRILL I have to agree; unless it’s some new über-alien race we haven’t heard of yet and are here to put us against each other before they kill us.

GRILLKA Somehow I doubt that…

SPRAK May I remind you that it is furthermore possible that multiple organizations are behind this and that some of them might be trying to pose as another organization thus making them harder to identify.

GHI’LA I’m more confident that multiple ones are behind this; I just can’t believe that only one party could have done this.

GIGERDIUS I have to agree with you on that one, still as we yet don’t know who are behind this we have to keep our eyes open.

MORA But I bet Mr. Normi or at least his “friends” know who they are, but even they may not know all the people who are pulling the ropes here.

GRILLKA I think we should have a little chat with Normi’s friends then.

T’LAR What about R’Derex?

SPRAK Yes, we should furthermore attempt to locate Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex.

MORA Agreed, but right now we have no place to look for him, however, Normi’s friends might know more about his possible location as well.

GRILLKA I’d still recommend sending teams to investigate the colony.

GIGERDIUS I think that’s a good idea. Sharon, Fhogli and Ghi’la, you can head back to the colony to do some digging around. T’Lar, Sprak and Drill you could do some checking around in both the colony and here in space.

DRILL Yes, sir.

MORA I think it’s about time to visit Mr. Normi again.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Shuttle Bay

A T-Race or a military shuttle is launching from the hangar.

INT. Exploreison Corridors

Grillka, Mora and Gigerdius are walking towards the lift

FHOGLI Captain, a shuttle is departing from the hangar… it’s Min’da.

MORA Damn, she picked up a bad time for a joy-ride.

He presses his communicator.

MORA (cont.) Mora to Sprak, change of plans Sprak. You, T’Lar and Drill go after Min’da and see what she’s up to…

He looks at Grillka and Gigerdius, and lowers a bit his voice.

MORA (cont.) …This time.

SPRAK (v.o.) Yes, sir. We are already heading to the shuttle bay.

MORA Good, however, if we’re to leave the Exploreison do not contact us until we contact you. We should avoid contact unless if it’s necessary.

SPRAK (v.o.) Yes, sir. Sprak out.

GRILLKA Guess what she’s up to now…

GIGERDIUS Somehow, I don’t think this is such a good sign.

MORA Neither do I, but right now we can’t do much about it. Let’s go to meet Normi.

INT. Exploreison Shuttle Bay

A military shuttle or another military shuttle departs from the hangar.

EXT. Space – The Shuttle

The shuttle is headed towards the third planet, which can be seen in the background.

Scene XXII “Establishing the Meeting” INT. Exploreison Special Security Mess Hall

Normi is looking out of the holowindow. Grillka, Mora and Gigerdius come in.

MORA So Mr. Normi, we’d like to meet your… “friends” if that’s possible.

GIGERDIUS We believe that you know who these people after you are and we really can’t help you much if we don’t know with whom we’re dealing with.

NORMI Yes, you are correct, but I must speak to them first in order to arrange any kind of meeting.

GRILLKA Can you do it from here?

NORMI Unfortunately I cannot, I have to get back to the colony.

GRILLKA That’s quite dangerous; you might be captured while you’re there.

NORMI It’s a risk we have to take.

The crew doesn’t seem to be so sure about that.

NORMI (cont.) If you want to contact them it has to be this way. Besides, I might be able to tell you who they are, but I can’t tell you anything more really. We have people who know a lot more about these guys and they are more convincing than I am.

GIGERDIUS I’m not so sure is this a good idea.

MORA Unfortunately, it may be the only way.

GRILLKA Yeah, so we gonna we let him go?

GIGERDIUS I think we have no other choice.

MORA Yeah, we’ll just have to hope for the best.

GRILLKA All right then, guess we’ll give it a go.

MORA We’ll beam you to the surface and wait for your call.

NORMI Good, I’ll be contacting you on a specified frequency; I can give it to your communications officer.

GIGERDIUS Good, then it’s settled. Good luck Mr. Normi, you may just need it.

NORMI I’ll be fine this time; I was before they took me.

MORA Yeah, let’s hope they won’t catch you again.

EXT. Streets – Day Sharon, Fhogli and Ghi’la are investigating the city. They decide to visit one shop, which has some generic stuff, flea market-type of shop. They go inside:

INT. The Shop – Day

SHARON Well, here surely is a lot of stuff around.

FHOGLI If you ask me, most of this stuff is just a piece of junk.

GHI’LA This does look quite nice.

Ghi’la is looking at one kerchief.

FHOGLI What?

Fhogli moves closer and looks at the kerchief.

FHOGLI (cont.) Yeah, it certainly does look quite good.

SHARON Well I wouldn’t say so, but whatever you like.

Sharon walks around, but sees nothing interesting. Fhogli and Ghi’la both seem to be quite occupied in examining the stuff in the shop. Sharon takes his tricorder and starts checking the map; the tricorder does a short range scan to determine the location, but in doing that it notices something unusual and starts beeping as it had detected something unusual. Sharon and the others notice this.

GHI’LA What is it?

Sharon walks near to an object (if possible, the “communicator” sort of thing could be used here).

SHARON There seems to be unusual electromagnetic signatures emanating from this object and the composition of the material seems to be unknown.

FHOGLI We should get it back to Exploreison for further study.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Ghi’la, Sharon and Fhogli come in. The command staff is sitting on their chairs.

GHI’LA Captain, we found some kind of odd object from the colony.

She gives it to Mora.

MORA Hmm… what’s so odd about this?

SHARON It emanates unusual electromagnetic signatures and the composition of the material is unknown.

MORA Give it to the science team. Too bad Sprak went looking for Min’da.

GHI’LA Yes, sir.

Scene XXIII “The Interrogation Continues” INT. S18 “Space Station”, Interrogation Room

R’Derex is still seen tied onto the chair. He seems to have passed out. The agents are standing near the door to the interrogation room, discussing their recent progress.

AGENT HOLLOW The doctor has been informed of our progress here.

AGENT HAND I believe he will not be satisfied with it. That officer is a tougher one to crack than I believed.

AGENT THUNDER We can let the doctor to do the rest of the work. Most likely he will see us incompetent for this work.

AGENT HOLLOW We shall see. He should already be on his way.

Not long after that Dr. Coit enters the room. He doesn’t seem to be on a too positive mood.

DR. COIT You failed on retrieving any information from this… alien?

AGENT HAND We verified everything he told us. He doesn’t seem to know much about anything of what is going on around here.

DR. COIT Or then he simply fooled you. I’m going to ask few questions from him personally.

Coit sits on the chair opposite side of the table R’Derex is sitting at. R’Derex seemed to be conscious once again.

DR. COIT (cont.) So, Mr. R’Derex, there are some things I need to ask you about.

R’DEREX (Dizzy) What? Who’re you?

COIT Who I am doesn’t concern you. Are you affiliated with the resistance? Do you know anything about them?

R’DEREX I only know that they exist and could use a better name nothing else.

COIT What do you know about Mr. Normi?

R’DEREX Why’re you asking this? I already told those other people everything I knew or did they suddenly become deaf or something?

COIT I had hoped you would have been more cooperative from the start.

Coit stands up and walks at R’Derex. He takes a hypospray from his pocket and uses it on R’Derex. Then he walks back at the table. R’Derex starts feeling the effects from it, which is some very nasty pain. He starts shaking around the chair.

COIT (cont.) Now, Mr. R’Derex, let me ask you again. Do you know anything about the resistance or where rests of Normi’s associates are?

R’DEREX (In pain) I don’t know anything! Believe me!

Coit stands up again and uses the hypospray again. R’Derex starts screaming.

COIT That’s what it feels to burn!

R’Derex screams.

COIT (cont.) You are trying my patience. Answer my questions now!

R’DEREX I don’t know anything!!

AGENT HOLLOW Sir, I believe he doesn’t know anything, this endeavor is useless.

COIT I didn’t ask for your advice!

Coit looks for a while at the suffering R’Derex.

COIT (cont.) Tell me!

R’Derex is too much in pain to say anything. Coit is about to use the hypospray again, but one of the agents interrupts.

AGENT HOLLOW Sir, that may cause his death or at least permanent damage to him, which will bring a lot of people investigating this area if he’s lost.

COIT Fine then. Get rid of him, but wipe his memory from this time, or make him believe that the resistance did this.

AGENT HAND When should we do this?

COIT Now!

AGENT HOLLOW It may not work at this stage yet, we should wait for a while.

COIT Fine, but if we’re discovered it’ll be your fault.

Coit leaves from the room leaving the agents in there.

AGENT THUNDER The good doctor doesn’t seem to appreciate our work much.

AGENT HOLLOW (looking at R’Derex) Could he be our answer?

AGENT HAND Perhaps, but we should follow his order for now.

Scene XXIV “The Message” INT. Exploreison Bridge

Ghi’la is already sitting at her workplace monitoring the communications. Suddenly she starts to receive a coded signal, which comes from the frequency that Normi gave them. She presses her communicator.

GHI’LA Ghi’la to Mora, Captain I’ve received the message from Mr. Normi.

MORA (v.o.) Acknowledged, we’re on our way. Mora, out.

Mora, Grillka and Gigerdius come at Ghi’la’s workplace.

GHI’LA It was encrypted, but I managed to decrypt it with the encryption code that Normi gave us.

GIGERDIUS What was the content of the message?

GHI’LA You should arrive to the Dark Light bar, in the southwest area of the main city in one hour. I have the exact coordinates for the place here.

If someone gets a better suggestion for the name of the bar, then put it here.

MORA Guess we should prepare for it.

GRILLKA I recommend we use civilian clothing; our military uniforms may attract too much unwanted attraction.

MORA Agreed.

GIGERDIUS It’s been a long time since I publicly wore clothes that are more ‘normal’.

MORA Change is sometimes good, you know.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, guess I’ll go to see if there’s something, I could wear.

Gigerdius leaves, Grillka and Mora go as well.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Sprak comes to the bridge. Ghi’la notices that and yells.

GHI’LA Sprak! There’s something in the science area that might interest you, you’d better check it out.

SPRAK I will lieutenant, but first, there are some other things I ought to do.

Mora then comes from the ready room and notices Mr. Sprak.

MORA Sprak, you’re back! So, you found Min’da?

He walks nearer him.

SPRAK Yes, captain. The planet apparently accommodated T-Race presence hundreds or perhaps even thousands of years ago. Because they had to left in a hurry, large amount of T-Race energy was left behind; Min’da went to recover it. Although I must admit that there is something she is not telling us.

MORA Well… what’s new? You know, it wouldn’t be the first time, but I wonder what it is this time…

SPRAK You are correct, however, it conundrums me that what reason would she have to conceal information this time.

MORA Yeah, me too.

SPRAK Captain, may I ask why you are wearing civilian clothes?

MORA We’re about to go planet-side to meet Normi and his friends, and I need you to stay here. Quite many things have happened since you left, most notably that “device” Fhogli, Ghi’la and Sharon found.

SPRAK Understood captain. Incidentally, the second asteroid field located in this system is impenetrable by sensors, because of T-Race influence.

MORA Hmm… must be that asteroid field… check the records when it has been previously checked. No reason to start investigating it just yet. We’d better find out as much information about it before we do anything.

SPRAK Yes, sir.

MORA You better get to work then and I really need to get to the transporter room or we’ll be late.

SPRAK Yes, sir.

INT. Exploreison Engineering

Drill is inspecting the ship’s systems, but notices something unusual.

DRILL Hmm… there seems to be a slight variation in the ship’s power grid, have you checked it out?

ENGINEER Yes, sir, we checked it out, but found nothing wrong there or anything that might be causing it.

DRILL Odd… all right, try to reroute power through the secondary routes. That small problem might just get bigger and that isn’t good.

ENGINEER Yeah, but that place went through maintenance only few weeks ago, it shouldn’t have malfunctioned like that.

DRILL I am aware of that ensign, that’s what puzzles me. It is possible someone has accidentally calibrated it wrong in these past few days.

ENGINEER But no one has been in the malfunctioning area except after it started to malfunction.

DRILL That only makes this even odder. Well, I guess right now we can only try to repair it; we’ll worry about the cause later. It’s also possible that truly there even isn’t anything wrong.

ENGINEER Yes, sir.

Scene XXV “The Bar Scene” INT. Bar – Evening

Gigerdius, Mora and Grillka enter a murky looking underground bar in the Donor system's main planet. Normi is with them.

The bar could be a rather low-tech looking establishment (at least), but nevertheless with a very dark and gloomy atmosphere. Some music could be nice, but then again we'd just end up having to pay for it or something.

So, the scene begins with the group entering the bar and walking to the "reception desk" housed by a "BOUNCER”-sort of a character or characters. Let me remind you, that all of the Exploreison (along with Normi) - people are dressed in civilian attire. Hopefully, the chosen colors could be gray, black, dark blue, (why not brown as well as long as it looks as if they're going into the bar in order to do some "shady business" of their own) etc.

The bouncer sees the group and is somehow a bit amused of something that he sees in them. As the group approaches the table, in order to pass through into the bar, the bouncer smiles and places his hand in front of Mora as gesture that "you're either not welcome or you haven't done something needed in order to get in".

The bouncer smiles.

BOUNCER # 1 No, no, no…

Mora looks at the man with the rest of the group behind him.

BOUNCER # 1 (cont.) Deposit weapons, please.

The bouncer obviously wants to play around with this group for some odd reason. Now he knows quite well that they do not look like the most trouble-causing people, but who's to reason with bouncers?!

MORA Oh, yes, I almost forgot…

The crewmembers nod to each other, pull out their incinerator beam pistols and place them on the table. Then, Mora takes out a smaller hand inc. beam and finally pulls out one more from his (if possible) holster on the leg.

Obviously, the bouncer wasn't that prepared for something like this. He looks a bit uneasy.

BOUNCER # 1 Ehm… You gentlemen have a nice evening.

GIGERDIUS Thank you, we'll try to enjoy ourselves…

The group walks deeper into the establishment… (As this scene advances, we'll have several different possibilities. Firstly, if we get a reasonably good looking "bar" for ourselves, there could be some music playing along with people lounging around)

The group walks slowly further while looking around and seeing the very vibrant nightlife of the bar.

NORMI Captain Mora and Ambassador Gigerdius, I believe our contact is a man named Stoner.

Mora and Gigerdius nod at each other.

GRILLKA You know him?

NORMI I've seen him a few times, yes.

Suddenly, Normi points his finger to somewhere in the distance, to a table located at the back. There is someone there.

As the group walks closer to this particular table, they see that there is a single person sitting there. The physical appearance of this character has not been decided yet. The group walks in front of this "STONER" and look at him for awhile.

NORMI That's him…

The person seems to be sipping a beverage of some sort from a nearby glass.

MORA Excuse me, but are you Stoner?

The man looks up, and smiles with a wicked grin.

"STONER" Yes, I am the aforementioned character.

MORA Good, since we want to meet the resistance.

Stoner starts to laugh. He obviously is half-acting, half-surprised that someone asks of the Resistance so openly.

"STONER" (Laughing) The resistance, is it? I don’t think they’d be in a place like this from all the other possibilities that they could have at their disposal… This is a nice and quiet place, of course… Why would THIS place have anything to do with them?

Gigerdius and Mora look at each other. Obviously Stoner isn’t very good at masking the resistance’s “hideout”. Perhaps he even meant it that way, who knows…

"STONER" (cont.) Ah, Normi, I noticed you enter the bar with these ‘gentlemen’. We heard you were killed by a group of S18 agents…

NORMI I almost was! But that's not important right now… since these people wish to meet the leaders of the resistance. They can help us.

GRILLKA Yeah, you know anything about these "leaders of the resistance”?

"STONER" I know a lot of things, my green friend.

A moment of silence ensues...

GIGERDIUS With all due respect, we'd need to see them right now, please.

The man looks at the group for a while.

"STONER" Normi, you in some kind of trouble again?

NORMI These people helped me.

"STONER" Oh, is that so?

The man nods quietly.

"STONER" (cont.) Alright, I'll tell you what… all of you people will go down a certain flight of stairs located in a room over there (he points to the direction). After you've had your say, you can all agree with me that it never happened, correct?

The group of crewmen looks over their shoulders and sees the room. They once again nod to each other.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Sprak is sitting at his console, reading the information about the ‘artifact’ that was sent by the science team. Ghi’la and Fhogli then come at him.

GHI’LA So, have you found out anything more about that thing we found?

SPRAK I have, and the information is disconcerting…

FHOGLI What makes you say that?

SPRAK The electromagnetic signatures and the composition of the object are identical to the object found onboard the Peace Station two years ago.

GHI’LA How’s that possible?

SPRAK I do not know. It would appear that the same race we had contact with two years ago may have operated in this region.

FHOGLI That’s not good at all. We should head back to the colony and find out where they found this.

GHI’LA Agreed, but shouldn’t we inform the captain about this?

SPRAK We must keep absolute radio silence, unless it is utterly necessary to contact them.

GHI’LA Well Drill was left in command so I guess we only have to ask from him, besides I’m sure that they would approve.

FHOGLI Yeah, well guess we’ll then head back to the colony to see if we actually can find out the source of that thing.

Scene “Coit’s Torment” INT. S18 Base, lab

Coit is sitting at a console doing some work. Suddenly a communiqué comes:

S18 OFFICER #1 Doctor, there’s a signal coming from Section 18 command.

DR. COIT Put it through.

A SECTION 18 OFFICIAL appears to the screen.

S18 OFFICIAL Dr. Coit, we’ve been expecting a progress report for a several days now.

DR. COIT You’ll have it at the end of the week, we’ve been very busy here.

S18 OFFICIAL I hope so. You do know that this is your last chance to redeem yourself, after those four other fiascos. Don’t make us regret for giving you another chance.

DR. COIT I’ll get the job done this time.

S18 OFFICIAL Good, we’ll be waiting for your report. Our operative aboard the Exploreison is taking the necessary precautions, don’t concern yourselves with them unless absolutely necessary. Section 18 command out.

DR. COIT I’ll get the job done this time, no more failures, failures because of other people failed and I got the blame. Soon they will apologize all the bad things they’ve said. I will get this done… by any means necessary, nothing can stop me this time.

Obviously Coit is being tormented by his failures in the past and is being driven over the edge. After babbling with himself he gets back to work.

Scene XXVI “Resistance Meeting” INT. Tunnels beneath the City – Evening

The crew knocks on the door and it’s opened by a guard-looking man. He points to the stairs.

GUARD That way, you can’t get lost there.

MORA Thanks…

NORMI I’m not coming with you. There are some things I need to work out. You’ll know how to contact me in future.

GRILLKA Sure you’ll be okay?

NORMI I know these people, they’ll keep me safe. Safer than you can… no offense.

MORA None taken… see you later.

Normi goes back. The lighting isn’t set too bright. The group is walking down the stairs even deeper to underground. They get to some sort of subterranean complex. They walk through some heavy-looking doors, to a (if possible) dark room. The crewmembers have no flashlights with them and no tricorders. Mora takes his gun out.

GIGERDIUS Anyone here?

At first, they get no response and are starting to turn away, but suddenly the lights come on. We see Justin, two bodyguards and the undercover scientist standing in the middle of this underground room. The crewmembers are astonished that JUSTIN GRON himself is there to meet them. Both parties remain quiet for a while. The undercover SCIENTIST is with Justin.

MORA Fleet Admiral Justin Gron… we weren’t expecting to meet you.

JUSTIN (Laughs) I’m sure you didn’t. It was advised for me not to meet you in-person, but I decided that what the hell, I might as well do this myself.

GRILLKA What are you doing in a system that seems to be of no importance?

JUSTIN All GA systems are of importance. The government has forgotten all these outer-rim colonies… I know how hard their lives are, I was born in an outer-rim colony… but enough of that, we have much to talk and little time.

MORA What do you mean by ‘little time’?

SCIENTIST The Section 18 agents will presumably get here soon; they’ve been sweeping these tunnels for weeks now.

GIGERDIUS Section 18? So those black clothed people are…

JUSTIN Section 18 agents. That organization is the sole reason why I formed the resistance and the main reason why I’m now here.

SCIENTIST They also have a secret base in this system, in which they are conducting experiments on people, people like Normi.

MORA So it was Section 18 all along… that was one of the suspects on Sprak’s list, but… why are they conducting these sorts of experiments?

JUSTIN So you did suspect them… good.

SCIENTIST They are injecting them with different solutions, made from liquids obtained from the aliens we’re researching.

GRILLKA What sort of ‘aliens’?

Justin and the Scientist exchange looks.

SCIENTIST The ones you encountered at the Peace Station two years ago.

The crewmembers are thunderstruck; they obviously didn’t expect to hear that.

GIGERDIUS Those? How many?

SCIENTIST A lot… and they have ships too. I don’t know the exact amount, my clearance isn’t large enough.

JUSTIN This is much larger than you’ve probably imagined. The Section 18 isn’t a friendly organization.

GRILLKA What makes you think we believe this? Or that we won’t turn you in?

JUSTIN I know you people, although I must admit that at first I didn’t support making you (pointing at Gigerdius) the captain of Exploreison, but that one admiral changed it all…

GIGERDIUS I am aware of the history of that.

GRILLKA Still, you’re taking a very big risk.

JUSTIN I didn’t come this far by not having risks, but we shouldn’t waste time to discussions like these.

GIGERDIUS Right… so, what can we do about this?

SCIENTIST I can take you to the station… that’ll prove everything we’ve said. You’re also the possible people that can stop this, once and for all… at least here.

MORA I doubt we can end the whole Section 18 menace, but we may be able to prevent things, like what happened to Normi, ever happening again.

JUSTIN That’s all you need to do here. I’m not asking you to take on the entire S18; that would mean the end of your career. Normi is a prime example, admiral. Go to the S18 station, you’ll find all the evidence to make yourself believe us.

MORA You make it sound as if…

Suddenly some sounds can be heard emanating from the distance.

GUARD Sir…

SCIENTIST They’re coming… I can sense them… but I can’t block our presence for long.

JUSTIN We need to get out of here and fast. Admiral I hope it’s OK if she/he will go with you?

GIGERDIUS Yeah, that should be fine…

JUSTIN Good luck to you people. I hope you can end this. Maybe we’ll meet again…

Justin and his GUARDS run away.

GRILLKA Where to?

SCIENTIST Follow me…

MORA Can’t we beam out?

SCIENTIST It’s risky to be transported from here. Only 15% of the transports work and they might detect it and trace it back to your ship.

MORA Well then… lead the way.

They run to somewhere, preferably not to the same place they came from. Sometime later S18 agents come to the spot. They look around for sometime, obviously trying to use their telepathic powers. After a while they split up. Other group going after Justin and the other after the crew.

Scene XXVII “Truth Comes Crashing Down” EXT. Probably Streets near an Industrial Site – Evening

Ghi’la, Fhogli and Sharon are walking near of an industrial site (if possible, otherwise some other location has to be used). They stop. Sharon is scanning the area.

SHARON This is the place the shopkeeper said to have found that device.

GHI’LA Looks like to be some kind of an industrial site (if possible. This will be changed if the location isn’t an industrial site).

FHOGLI So it seems… you picking up anything.

SHARON Some faint readings, but I can’t be sure what they really are, not at this range at least.

GHI’LA Something jamming the tricorder?

SHARON It seems so… I can’t scan this place in detail.

FHOGLI Then those figures can’t be too far. Better move cautiously.

Fhogli takes a gun out of his holster, Ghi’la does so as well. They move to the industrial site. They’re walking around. Sharon is constantly scanning the area.

SHARON I’m not picking up anything here… either this isn’t the place where the shopkeeper found the item or there’s nothing left here.

GHI’LA It’s awfully quiet here…

FHOGLI Yeah… I think that we’d better head back to the city.

SHARON Wait a minute… I may have something…

Sharon moves forward and crouches. He’s pointing the tricorder on one specific spot.

SHARON I’m detecting some residual traces of that unknown material.

GHI’LA Makes me wonder why that kind of thing would be here… it’s not like something you encounter everyday.

FHOGLI Indeed, this makes me even more uneasy about this whole thing.

Suddenly they perceive an agent moving far away. This agent can be Thunder, Hand or someone new. Ghi’la and Fhogli find some cover. Sharon also, but somewhere else. Preferably behind Ghi’la and Fhogli. They observe the agent for a while, as he appears to be looking for something. Suddenly Sharon is thrown back on the ground. We see Agent Hollow. Sharon looses his gun.

AGENT HOLLOW Pathetic human.

The agent grabs Sharon on her chest and raises her to air. The agent closes her eyes as if scanning Sharon. Few seconds later she quickly opens them and looks at Sharon. Then suddenly the agent is shot at the back. The first time doesn’t seem to affect the agent at all. The agent is being fired at even more and thus dropping Sharon, who falls to the ground. After some continuous firing the agent also falls to the ground. Fhogli and Ghi’la run to the spot.

FHOGLI Sharon, are you alright?

Once they get to there, Agent Hollow rises up and throws their weapons away. Fhogli quickly kicks the agent, but Hollow doesn’t even seem to notice that. Hollow then grabs both Ghi’la and Fhogli, and easily throws them to the ground. Hollow walks up at Fhogli and grabs him up.

AGENT HOLLOW I’m enjoying this too much.

If possible, Hollow would throw Fhogli to a wall of some sort. Hollow then walks up at Ghi’la, grabs her up and throws her to the wall as well. Hollow looks at the officers, but seems to be unsure of her actions. The other two agents could walk at them from the distance. Sharon seemed to have gone unnoticed by them.

SHARON Emergency beam-out.

The crew is beamed away.

AGENT HAND I trust you were able to found something?

Hollow doesn’t answer immediately.

AGENT HAND (cont.) Hollow?

AGENT HOLLOW Yes… yes they found one of the alien artifacts, bought it from a shop in the city. The shopkeeper had said to have found it here.

AGENT THUNDER Maybe we should pay a visit to this ‘shop’.

AGENT HOLLOW Now that they know about the existence of that device they may draw a conclusion that some of those aliens may be residing in this system.

AGENT HAND Don’t worry… they’ll be taken care in time…

AGENT THUNDER This place should have never been used as a transfer point.

AGENT HOLLOW It was the doctor’s orders, now he would probably blame us from his mistakes.

AGENT HAND Don’t worry, he’ll be dealt with in time.

AGENT THUNDER Hopefully soon, this cannot keep going like this for long.

AGENT HOLLOW Do you think we’re doing the right thing here?

AGENT HAND We have to follow orders for now, we have no other options.

EXT. Outside Some Building with a Door – Evening

Mora, Grillka, Gigerdius and the Scientist come out of some door. They are quite exhausted.

MORA I really could exercise more.

GIGERDIUS Did we loose them?

SCIENTIST Not completely, but I think we should be able to beam out more safely now.

GRILLKA Good, then let’s get the hell outta here.

Scene XXVIII “Revealing the Truth” INT. Exploreison Bridge

Gigerdius, Mora, Grillka and the Scientist come to the bridge. Sprak notices them and stands up from his chair. They have their civilian clothes on, if possible.

SPRAK Admiral, captain, commander, welcome back.

MORA It’s good to be back… has anything new come up while we were on the planet?

SPRAK As a matter a fact yes… Ghi’la, Fhogli and Sharon encountered our arcane opponents while investigating the source of the alien device.

GRILLKA Are they alright?

SPRAK Yes, they are recuperating in sickbay. Moorop says that they will make a complete convalescence.

GIGERDIUS Good to hear they’re alright… oh and this is a resistance scientist working at the Section 18 base located in this system.

SCIENTIST Pleased to meet you Mr. Sprak.

SPRAK Likewise. The Section 18 is behind all this?

SCIENTIST Yes, they are the ones operating in this system.

MORA It seems one of your assumptions was correct. Where’s this base located by the way?

SCIENTIST In the asteroid field; the one that cannot be scanned.

MORA What did you found out about it?

SPRAK I checked the records and according to them it had been previously explored meticulously about two years ago. By order of the Strategic Command itself.

GRILLKA Not long ago… odd that it wasn’t used or checked during the Lightness War at all.

SPRAK I contemplated the same thing commander. There were no official records about that asteroid field. It was incongruously inexplicable that in actual fact no information was accessible.

GIGERDIUS With higher security clearance you should be able to find out more, but unfortunately we don’t have one.

GRILLKA Now I believe that a visit to the station is in order.

MORA I think so too… assuming you can get us in.

SCIENTIST That shouldn’t prove to be too much of a problem. People there really don’t care what sort of people come to the station, as long as they have the clearance.

MORA I trust you people have those.

SCIENTIST We can get people inside, but that’s pretty much it. We have only the basic science clearance so you can’t inside the high-security labs.

SPRAK Admiral, what should we do with Lieutenant-Commander R’Derex’s disappearance?

SCIENTIST One of your people is missing?

GIGERDIUS Yeah, presumably captured by this Section 18.

SCIENTIST Hmm… I think he’s being held onboard the station, I saw one prisoner being transferred just as I left.

GRILLKA Guess this is gonna be a rescue mission as well.

MORA It won’t be easy.

SCIENTIST I can’t guarantee success. I can get you inside, but there I can only guide you the areas I can access. The rest is up to you.

GIGERDIUS We don’t have much choice right now… you should brief Mr. Sprak about the aliens you’re researching.

MORA What do you know about these ‘aliens’?

SCIENTIST We’ve been researching them for about a year now and made some astounding discoveries, especially in the past few months. Our initial predictions about those… creatures were far different than what we later found out.

GRILLKA What did you found out?

SCIENTIST Well, at first we had an assumption that they were bio-engineered to be the “ultimate soldiers”, but later by analyzing their genes and their biology we noticed that this wasn’t the case.

MORA They had never been engineered?

SCIENTIST Only the most high-ranking seemed to have been. The rest had naturally evolved to be extremely strong, agile, durable and perceptive. They must have evolved on a world with harsh conditions and changing climate, since they also could resist well heat as well as survive in very cold environments.

MORA Seems like perfects soldiers.

SCIENTIST That they are as they seem to be working to some more powerful force. The identity of this other party remains unknown as very little information about these aliens’ origin, culture or anything like that has been deciphered.

GIGERDIUS So you don’t know much about them yet?

SCIENTIST No, we actually don’t… but I’ve also heard rumors of some sort of other type of experiments being done, by Dr. Coit, the lead scientist.

MORA What sort of experiments?

SCIENTIST Something more drastic, injecting himself even… but I can’t be sure about them. There are all kinds of rumors flying around, especially among us that don’t know why we’re conducting such experiments.

GRILLKA What sort of experiments are you doing?

SCIENTIST Only to the aliens we’ve discovered, nothing involving people. I’ve seen some people being transferred there, but I don’t know exactly who they are or why they’re there. They don’t tell much to us low-ranking people. Rumors are something you hear a lot though.

GIGERDIUS So, not even you have any conclusive evidence about these experiments?

SPRAK Might they be trying to create the ultimate soldiers?

SCIENTIST Probably… the agents you’ve encountered are modified Gigerdians, not ordinary ones. Though I’m not too familiar with their backgrounds.

MORA Yeah, we’ve seen their strengths and skills. You know any weaknesses in them?

SCIENTIST None whatsoever. I know very little about the agents, they’re not too eagerly telling us about their backgrounds.

GIGERDIUS Guess we’d better be careful when dealing with ‘em.

SPRAK Where did you found these aliens?

SCIENTIST On Donor 3, little over a year ago.

GRILLKA When are we leaving to the base?

SCIENTIST Any time you want.

MORA Let’s go then.

SCIENTIST I’ll make the necessary arrangements.

INT. Special Security Force Mess Hall

T’Lar is looking out of the holowindow. She’s thinking. Fhogli comes in.

FHOGLI I heard that admiral and the rest of the command staff are going to the asteroid base; apparently owned by the Section 18.

T’LAR Yes, I heard. I never imagined seeing these… government “operations” in action. The world my people grew up in never had these problems…

FHOGLI Neither did us… at least before, but times change… for the worse this time…

T’LAR I never thought species could de-evolve in time, but apparently yours has just proven that they can.

FHOGLI I wouldn’t say that we’re ‘de-evolving’ now. I believe, and hope, that this hasn’t spread too thick among Gigerdians and won’t lead into anything bigger.

T’LAR I fear exactly that it will. The events here seem to prove that rather well and this may not even be the worst there’s to see.

FHOGLI I try not to think this too drastically, I’m sure they’ll do the right thing in the end. Besides, we don’t know everything involved here so we can’t make any accurate assumptions.

T’LAR Well you are right about that, but I can’t help but wonder this all… FHOGLI You shouldn’t worry about it too much, I’m even wondering why you even think about this; it isn’t even your problem really.

T’LAR Maybe… but serving on this ship I feel like I’m more part of your alliance rather my own race’s empire… I grew up in the Gigerdi Federation you know…

FHOGLI Can’t say that I blame you…

Fhogli is walking away when T’Lar abruptly says.

T’LAR One Folan once said that you should never deceive your own people, since in the end they will be your only allies.

FHOGLI You can have different opinions about that… and usually not all of the people are your allies.

T’LAR Maybe… but in every civilized world there should be trust, one that will never be misplaced.

Fhogli looks at her and is obviously thinking her words, as if perhaps reconsidering something. After a moment he leaves.

T’LAR (cont.) (quiet voice) In the end this will escalate into something else…

EXT. Colony, Shuttle Pad – Evening

If possible, an S18 Infiltrator is on the shuttle pad. The crewmembers, Mora, Gigerdius and Grillka, along with the resistance scientist are standing beside it. They have S18 clothing on.

MORA Guess this is it… no turning back here.

GRILLKA Is it wise for you to head to the base? This is rather weird that all the command staff members are going, especially you.

GIGERDIUS It might be odd, but better not risk anybody else’s lives here. We started this investigation and we will finish it as well, no matter where it takes us.

SCIENTIST All set?

MORA No, but let’s go anyway.

EXT. Space – Above Donor Two

The Infiltrator is moving into deeper space and heading towards the asteroid field.

EXT. Space – Asteroid Field near the S18 Base

The Infiltrator is going through the asteroid field to a location that doesn’t seem to have anything.

SCIENTIST (v.o.) This is Infiltrator Whirlwind requesting permission to land. Sending the security clearance.

S18 Comm. (v.o.) Infiltrator Whirlwind you are clear to land.

The S18 base suddenly decloaks in the empty space. The Infiltrator proceeds to the upper areas and enters to a shuttlebay.

Scene XXIX “In the Lion’s Den” INT. S18 Base

They walk some corridors in the station, going towards a security checkpoint. They walk to the security checkpoint. One or two GUARDS are present there.

GUARD Welcome back doctor; these people the new replacement personnel requested?

SCIENTIST Yeah and here are the IDs.

The crew and the scientist hand over their IDs. The guards check them.

GUARD Everything seems to be in order, as always. Nobody ever tries to get in without authorization only out.

GRILLKA Do you have breaches of security often here?

GUARD No, but enough to piss off Doctor Coit.

MORA Doctor Coit?

GUARD Didn’t tell them yet, huh?

SCIENTIST Didn’t wanna spoil everything.

GUARD In that case a word of advice to you… try not to get to his bad side and try to avoid him as much as possible.

GIGERDIUS (looking at Mora and Grillka) Thanks, we’ll try.

GUARD But I shouldn’t keep you waiting; you’re clear to proceed.

SCIENTIST We’ll be on our way then.

They walk through the checkpoint.

GRILLKA (low voice) I was wondering how we were supposed to get in…

MORA (low voice) You people definitely have resources.

SCIENTIST (low voice) We do, but in the end those resources are very thin and could be a lot better.

GIGERDIUS I guess this is your turf then.

They stop at some (if possible) intersection.

SCIENTIST That depends on what you wanna do…

GRILLKA At least we need to find out where R’Derex is being held.

SCIENTIST We should be able to find out that from a console somewhere around here.

INT. Console Room

Since we probably can’t construct our own console we could use a laptop for example or something similar if somebody figures out something else.

The scientist goes to the console and starts using it. He/she lists the prisoners and the “subjects” on a list, soon noticing R’Derex.

SCIENTIST He’s being held on the prison deck; I have no idea how we’re supposed to get there.

MORA Guess we have to keep our eyes open for possibilities.

Gigerdius seems to perceive some other familiar name from the list.

GIGERDIUS It can’t be…

MORA What is it?

GIGERDIUS It’s Craal! Is there some extra info about him?

SCIENTIST Yeah just a second…

The Scientist pulls up the info about Craal. There’s a picture of him, the date he was ‘found’ and the circumstances leading to that.

GRILLKA The date… it’s two years ago during the Peace Station incident and that…

GIGERDIUS They stole that creature and Craal’s body…

MORA Perhaps we should visit the lab where they are researching him.

GRILLKA Can you get us there?

SCIENTIST I think so.

GRILLKA Let’s go then.

They leave from whatever place they were in.

INT. Corridors

If anyway possible they could be walking through the base and going past a lot of S18 personnel.

Scene XXX “Finding Craal” INT. Lab

Finally they arrive at a certain lab; this room doesn’t need to have anything special really. Some sort of lockers or cabinets might be good though. They look around in the room for sometime. The room has no other personnel at that time. The scientist goes to the main console in the room. This console looks the same as before. Gigerdius and Grillka follow her/him, Mora, however, doesn’t. The scientist accesses the database and displays the research information about Craal. Mora looks around the room. They look at the information for a few seconds. Picture of Craal can be seen as well as the research information.

GIGERDIUS It seems they are interested in his brain, more importantly what it holds inside.

GRILLKA They’ve extracted memories out of him. About the chase… and about the fight.

SCIENTIST He seems to have been researched for over a year now, ever since this base was built. Before that he seems to have been simply stored in stasis.

Mora looks at the lockers/cabinets.

GRILLKA Guess they weren’t hurrying too much at that time, yet.

GIGERDIUS But after they found the same aliens their interest in him raised a lot.

Mora opens one locker/cabinet and finds Craal’s jacket and perhaps some other stuff from him.

MORA Look at this!

They move to the locker/cabinet. Gigerdius picks up Craal’s jacket.

GIGERDIUS It’s Craal’s… could he be somewhere around here?

Scientist goes back to the console and looks at the information.

SCIENTIST No, apparently he’s been on the operating table already and his remains have been moved elsewhere.

Gigerdius and Grillka walk back at the console. Gigerdius still holds the jacket.

GIGERDIUS They seem to have found out quite a lot about these aliens. Is there any way you could download that information?

SCIENTIST I could, but it would be detected, so I don’t recommend trying it.

GRILLKA Maybe we’ll get a chance later.

MORA I hope so. This information could very well prove invaluable.

GRILLKA Can you access any information about those… ‘aliens’?

SCIENTIST I should be… hold on a second...

She/he accesses the information. They look at it for a second.

GRILLKA Look at that– these life-forms were discovered two years ago onboard the Peace Station when it was commanded by Colonel Craal and visited by the exploration vessel G.A.S. Exploreison… the operative had been assigned to follow the G.A.S. Exploreison during its mission in the Ferion system.

GIGERDIUS Must’ve had one of their Infiltrators hiding somewhere.

MORA The Section 18 must know how to hide them, especially from GA ships.

GRILLKA You people have any knowledge about a possible Section 18 operative onboard the Exploreison?

SCIENTIST We don’t have any conclusive information, but I have heard certain rumors that someone or some people have had more contact with them.

MORA I don’t like the sound of that.

GIGERDIUS Can you see the operative list here?

SCIENTIST Not all, but some maybe… let me see, though this is a bit risky.

MORA It’s part of the job.

The scientist again cycles through the database, finally finding an operative list.

GRILLKA Apparently they’ve had operatives following us during our first year.

GIGERDIUS And look at that… a little before the Lightness War when Rubek was still in charge we joined up with the renegade fleet. They have information about the events that occurred then although there was no record of them, at least not at that time.

SCIENTIST What information?

MORA Apparently they were well aware of our positioning and motives at every turn, yet they catch us very much later.

GRILLKA Seems like we may have a leak or had one.

GIGERDIUS Seems so… guess we have to be really careful now.

Suddenly another SECTION 18 SCIENTIST enters the room.

S18 SCIENTIST #1 Hey, what’re you doing here?

SCIENTIST We had orders from Doctor Ioriin to check subject Craal’s research.

S18 SCIENTIST #1 You better do it soon since I believe Doctor Coit is making another meeting somewhere around now.

SCIENTIST We’re just about finished here.

S18 SCIENTIST #1 Good, I also require doing some checking on the research.

Gigerdius puts the jacket back in the locker/cabinet. The Scientist puts the console to its original condition.

Gigerdius walks closer to Mora and the friendly S18 scientist.

GIGERDIUS Dr. Coit?

SCIENTIST He’s the main researcher of this station and also has the highest authority around here. I’ve seen him personally a few times and I’d say he isn’t the most pleasant person around here. Apparently, there’s something big he personally oversees in the research decks…

MORA Hmm… I think it would be the best for us to also participate in this meeting they have… Just to see what this Dr. has in mind.

Scene XXXI “The Gathering of Minds” INT. Meeting Hall

We see a huge hall of some sort piled up with agents and research scientists from the base. They patiently wait in lines in front of a podium of some sort. There could be a large S18 logo hanging on the back wall.

The main characters (Mora, Gigerdius and the scientist) arrive into the hall at the last minute. However, they somehow manage to advance in front of the podium. The other agents seem a bit distracted by the arrival of another three additional “agents” who seriously look like people who are not quite sure of what they’re doing.

Suddenly, Dr. Coit walks into the podium. He has another agent with him, and exchanges a few silent words with the “mystery agent” and after it looks at the audience that has gathered into the hall. The mystery agent could stand several paces behind Coit, somewhere close to the S18 insignia.

SCIENTIST That’s him…

Gigerdius and Mora silently look as the crowd gathered slowly starts to quiet down in order to hear what the Doctor has to say.

(Sorry about the lame font change, but for some reason this retarded machine just decided that news gothic didn’t exist in its inventory anymore. Pretty much fucked up, yeah, I know.)

DR. COIT Good day, my fellow telepaths. I bring you news of positive results concerning our research here today. I am sure that many of you have waited long and patiently to hear that the final tests concerning the creatures we have been researching for years are at hand.

The crowd cheers.

DR. COIT (cont.) Yes, my fellow telepaths, I am here to tell you that not only will we satisfy the needs of our superiors we will also benefit from this breakthrough ourselves.

The crowd goes completely silent.

DR. COIT (cont.) I have a vision.

Gigerdius and Mora look at each other; “surprisingly” they are the only ones not cheering to the speech.

DR. COIT (cont.) We, ourselves, will benefit from this breakthrough by unleashing its full potential against these so-called “mundanes” that wish for nothing else than the exploitation of our skills. For too long they have oppressed us, and now is the time to strike back right here and right now!

Agent Hand and the rest of the agents are seen in the crowd. They quietly observe what the Dr. has to say.

DR. COIT (cont.) I intend to unleash our rightful vengeance against the non–telepath population of this system right after the final test has been completed! This system will serve as a valuable base of operations for our new race after we have cleansed it of all life! It will be the purest diamond in our new way of life, my fellow telepaths.

DR. COIT (cont.) Many of you have asked about our purpose here. Many of you have wondered if our superiors have taken our valuable and precious research into account along the years. I am here to tell you that, after today, they will and they must recognize what we have done here today! The hour of complete victory is at hand for us, my fellow telepaths; let us confront it with the most profound sense of joy and pride towards our race!

This triggers a wide and soaring applause from the audience. Gigerdius and Mora begin to understand just how insane Dr. Coit really is.

GIGERDIUS We have to get out of here and warn the others of their plans, Mora.

GRILLKA But R’Derex is still somewhere around here, we need to get him and somehow stop this doctor.

The group decides to leave the meeting quietly while the audience continues to wildly applaud to Dr. Coit’s speech.

(Btw, I can consider on making this a bit longer, but the first draft of this scene needed to be completed really fast and I’m already lagging behind really badly)

Scene XXXII “An Unexpected Change” INT. Corridors

The three Section 18 agents are walking along the stations corridors. Agents Hand and Thunder are walking slightly farther away from agent Hollow, who suddenly drops a few additional paces back. The two agents notice Hollow’s slow pace and eventual stop, and look at him a bit puzzled. Hollow looks at the two agents and looks a bit bewildered herself.

AGENT THUNDER Agent Hollow, what’s wrong?

Both of the agents turn to look at Hollow, who obviously is experiencing a difficulty of some sort.

AGENT HOLLOW Why should we do what he tells us?

The two male agents look at each other again.

AGENT HAND What are you talking about, agent?

AGENT HOLLOW You of all people should realize that he is doing nothing but using us. And besides, that plan of his is quite deranged. Why should we be under his yoke, anyway?

The two agents look at each other, but suddenly Agent Hand’s expression darkens.

AGENT HAND To tell you the truth, I’ve never been fond of Dr. Coit. However, his plans are of no concern to me.

AGENT HOLLOW With all due respect, I think that innocent civilians shouldn’t be squandered off like this. Dr. Coit is quite clearly a madman, who will sacrifice all of us for his own personal gain. With this power given to us, we all might become just as him, maybe we were before.

AGENT THUNDER What’s wrong with you, Agent Hollow? It seems like you need to get your head examined.

Agent Hand ponders Agent Hollow’s change of tune for a while, and then turns his head towards the rest of the agents.

AGENT HAND Agent Thunder, there’s no need to be that harsh. It’s quite clear that Agent Hollow has certainly found Dr. Coit to be quite irrelevant to our goals. Indeed, her words contain some truth to them: perhaps it would be the best, if we could just leave the good doctor to his own little house of madness.

AGENT THUNDER Yes, to think about it, his plans interfere with the Section’s rules of engagement anyway. There’s no need to cause unneeded collateral damage: it will only bring unwanted attention towards our organization.

AGENT HAND Yes, I for one am just about ready to call our little cooperation with Dr. Coit over.

AGENT HOLLOW Then we’d better relocate.

The agents gather into a group again and start walking down the corridor again.

Scene XXXIII “The Accident” INT. Corridors

The group is once again walking the corridors heading towards the prison deck.

INT. Lab

Dr. Coit is in his lab, alone. He’s using his console. We can’t see exactly what his doing. After a few seconds alerts start sounding throughout the base.

INT. Corridors

The group and all the other S18 people notice the alert.

INT. Other Corridor or Lab

The agents also notice the alert.

AGENT HAND This is our best chance to escape. We might be able to take care of the good doctor as well.

AGENT HOLLOW Agreed, we need to make the final preparations and depart.

AGENT THUNDER Where would we be going?

AGENT HOLLOW To find out what’s really going on, somehow. No matter where that will lead us.

AGENT HAND For the first time I feel like I’m finally in control of myself. I’m starting to feel things I’ve never felt before.

AGENT THUNDER They will not enslave us again and make us do whatever they want without question.

AGENT HAND We don’t have much time, let’s meet up in four minutes

AGENT HOLLOW I will attempt to scrounge any information from the labs.

AGENT THUNDER What about that Folan?

AGENT HAND We better take him with us, he will be useful.

AGENT THUNDER I shall retrieve him then.

AGENT HAND I will prepare the ship.

The agents separate.

INT. Lab

Coit attempts apparently to see the cause of the alert from the console.

DR. COIT This isn’t happening, this can’t be happening…

He walks out of the lab.

INT. Corridor

Announcements from the loudspeakers can be heard.

ANNOUNCER Critical containment failure. Subjects are escaping. Self-destruct sequence activated. Time left to evacuate: 10 minutes.

This gets almost all the other S18 people running in panic as they are trying to evacuate.

GRILLKA This is our chance!

MORA (to scientist) Lead the way.

They start running.

Scene XXXIV “Discovering Your True Origins” INT. Lab

Announcement can be heard from the background. Agent Hollow is making some last preparations in a lab. Just as she’s ready to leave an EMISSARY appears at the doorway. The agent quickly grabs a gun from her holster, but the Emissary quickly runs towards her and thus throwing the agent to the ground. The Emissary walks closer to the agent and grabs her on her chest/throat and raises her. The agent is desperately trying to get free, but can’t.

If it were possible, the Emissary could throw the agent through a door or window. If neither can be done then simply throw the agent at a wall. Emissary walks up to the agent who quickly kicks the Emissary, but that doesn’t seem to do anything to the Emissary. At this phase we could see some strange fluid coming from Hollow. The agent could try to punch the Emissary at the face, but the Emissary easily grabs the agent’s hand and starts twisting it. The agent could try to do something with her other hand, but it doesn’t seem to help at all. The Emissary then grabs the agents head and kills her by twisting the agent’s neck. The agent falls to the ground. We see some of fluid coming from her. The Emissary looks at the body for a few seconds and then leaves.

INT. Corridor

The group arrives at an elevator of some sort. They stop. Announcement can be heard from the background.

GIGERDIUS Some of us should try to locate that Doctor Coit. We can’t let him escape.

MORA (pointing at Gigerdius) We can take ‘im.

GRILLKA You sure if it’s wise?

GIGERDIUS It isn’t, but we have no other options now. (to Grillka) You go with him/her and get R’Derex. We’ll rendezvous with you at the ship.

MORA What way can we get there?

The scientist hands over a tricorder or some small computer.

SCIENTIST That should help you find him.

GIGERDIUS Thanks and good luck to you!

GRILLKA You too.

Mora and Gigerdius start running to some direction. Grillka and the scientist enter the lift.

INT. Lab

Agent Hand comes to the lab where Hollow was battling the Emissary.

AGENT HAND Hollow? Hollow are you here?

Soon he notices the corpse lying on the floor.

AGENT HAND (cont.) No…

He walks at it and notices the odd fluid coming from Hollow. He touches it and investigates.

AGENT HAND (cont.) It can’t be…

He gets up.

AGENT HAND (cont.) Thunder!

He runs away from the lab.

Scene XXXV “Freeing R’Derex” INT. Prison Room

R’Derex is getting restless in the room. The announcements can be heard, but nobody seems to care about him.

R’DEREX Hey! Anybody out there?! It might be wise to get me out of here… I’m no use for you when I’m dead. Honest!

But his calls are countered by silence.

R’DEREX (cont.) Damn, never should have gotten up today…

INT. Outside the Prison Room

Grillka and the scientist arrive. They look at the jail door.

GRILLKA (pointing at the door) Can you get that open?

SCIENTIST I should be now that the security shouldn’t be too concerned on what’s happening here.

She/he takes out a tricorder or some form of PADD and closes to the keypad. She/he uses them for a while. Finally she/he opens the door. They see R’Derex inside the room. R’Derex on the other hand can’t see them.

INT. Prison Room

Grillka starts to untie him.

R’DEREX Thank the sun it’s you… and ‘bout time if you ask me.

GRILLKA Sorry for keep you waiting, but we had some problems here and there.

R’DEREX I can imagine.

She unties him and R’Derex gets up from the chair.

GRILLKA You okay?

R'DEREX Yeah, but I’d like to file a complaint about the room service.

GRILLKA(laughs) There’s plenty of time for that later, let’s go.

They move out of the room.

INT. Outside the Prison Room

They are just about to leave when suddenly Agent Thunder appears.

AGENT THUNDER You pathetic uniforms. You shouldn’t have meddled into affairs that didn’t concern you. (looking at the scientist) And you… you were working for the resistance all along. How brainless of us not to realize that, but knowing the “good doctor” I wouldn’t doubt anything. Release the Folan and I’ll let you go.

SCIENTIST You don’t necessarily have to follow him or the Section 18 anymore.

AGENT THUNDER No I don’t… and I intend not to. You, however, are in the way of my future. Release the Folan NOW!

But then suddenly an Emissary quickly comes from behind Thunder and hits him. Thunder flies at the feet of the group, which quickly starts running away. The Emissary doesn’t seem to be too concerned about them, but rather about the agent. Grillka stays to look at the fight from a bit further away. The agent tries to punch the Emissary, but the Emissary blocks all the attacks. The Chinese man must know some good tricks. The Emissary could break Thunder’s hand. The agent could scream a bit then. The fluid could be coming from him already at this point. The Emissary throws the agent to the floor. Although the agents have been built tough they can’t take this heavy beating. The agent could turn and attempt to kick the Emissary, but once again the Emissary blocks, grabs the agent’s leg and breaks it. This disables the agent almost completely. He lies on the floor in agony. The Emissary looks at the agent, thinking of the most suitable way of killing the agent. It might be nice to make him plea for help from Grillka, who he sees to observe them at distance. Then have some close-up on Grillka as she thinks whether or not to help the agent. Finally the Emissary just takes out a gun and shoots the agent on head, instantly killing him. Grillka and the other finally run away.

INT. Corridors

Grillka and others are running.

GRILLKA Those agents surely weren’t mundane Gigerdians, but those creatures still seemed to beat the crap out of ‘em.

SCIENTIST The agents seemed to be augmented. They had that fluid coming out of them, the solution we’ve been extracting from the creatures.

R’DEREX Those creatures surely are strong.

SCIENTIST For your relief that one was a high-ranking one so it was engineered to be even stronger.

R’DEREX Thanks, I feel so much better already…

GRILLKA In a way it was sad that we couldn’t help those people… they may not have even known about their true origins.

SCIENTIST Most likely they didn’t.

R’DEREX Odd that the agent seemed to be so interested in me.

GRILLKA True, I guess they had some unfinished business with you.

Scene XXXVI “Something’s Gone Wrong” INT. Exploreison Bridge

Drill is sitting in the captain’s chair. Sprak notices something has gone awry onboard the S18 station.

SPRAK Commander… I am picking up several small ships and escape pods coming from the vicinity of the Section 18 base.

DRILL How many ships?

SPRAK Several of them; enough many to deduce that they must be evacuating the station.

DRILL Sharon takes us closer to the asteroid field.

SHARON Aye, sir.

DRILL Noaren put us on yellow alert.

NOAREN Yes, sir.

INT. Outside the Prison Room

Hand comes to the area where Thunder and the Emissary battled and notices Thunder’s corpse. The same fluid is coming from him.

AGENT HAND Not him too… we were much different than we ever thought of… I’ll find out…

He leaves.

Scene XXXVII “Confronting Dr. Coit” INT. Lab

Dr. Coit is once again at a computer console. Trying to do some last minute work. Mora and Gigerdius enter the room. Both point their guns at the scientist.

MORA It’s over doctor.

DR. COIT I don’t think so.

Gigerdius attempts to shoot him, but the gun doesn’t work.

DR. COIT (cont.) That won’t work here.

MORA You’re still not walking out of here.

DR. COIT Oh I will. You’re welcome to try and stop me, but if I were you, I’d just leave.

The doctor attempts to exit through another door. Gigerdius and Mora run towards him. When they’re near him Coit turns quickly and punches Gigerdius right into the stomach. Gigerdius falls to the floor. Mora punches Coit or does some fighting tricks on him. Gigerdius is having hard time getting up from the floor. Coit manages to get the upper hand in the fight with Mora and pushes him against wall. Coit again tries to make his run, but Gigerdius gets up from the floor, though still in pain, and tries to stop Coit. However, he easily pushes Gigerdius back onto the floor. He picks Gigerdius up and punches him with a stunning blow. Gigerdius falls onto the floor and bleeding rather badly. Coit does the same for Mora. Both officers lie unconscious on the floor. Coit leaves.

Alternate INT. Room with a Window

Grillka and others arrive to a room with a rather huge window to a hangar. The hangar holding the Emissary ships. The ships are moving out of the hangar.

R’DEREX Would you look at that…

SCIENTIST The ships!

GRILLKA They’re escaping… guess we have a bigger problem on our hands now.

R’DEREX We need to tell the others onboard the Exploreison about this and we need some serious help in thwarting those ships.

GRILLKA So let’s go find the captain and the admiral already!

INT. Smaller Hangar

Coit is using a small computer doing some last minute notes. Agent Hand walks from the distance.

DR. COIT Where’re the other agents?

AGENT HAND They’re dead…

DR. COIT Hmph… should’ve known your kind can’t accomplish anything.

AGENT HAND What are we?

DR. COIT You wanna know what you are? You’re a failure. A failed experiment. Letting these intruders onboard and most likely letting them out. I feared your kind would not succeed and I was right, but they wanted to proceed… they should’ve listened to me…

At this point it would be good to show the fury of Agent Hand. He grabs a knife under his jacket and walks at Coit who’s not looking at him. He thrusts the knife in him.

AGENT HAND Goodbye doctor… how does it feel to be killed by a failure? For the first time I feel I’m using my skills for something worthwhile.

Coit soon dies and falls onto the floor. Hand looks at him for a second then throws the knife away.

AGENT HAND (cont.) Finally I can see a moment when you aren’t complaining, and that silence begins to feel like ecstasy.

He leaves.

INT. Lab

Gigerdius and Mora are lying unconscious on the floor. Grillka and the others come in. They quickly run at their bodies (corpses!!).

R’DEREX They’re still alive.

ANNOUNCEMENT (v.o.) Self-destruct in one minute.

R’DEREX Can’t be so sure about all of us soon…

GRILLKA There’s no way we can get to the ship in time.

SCIENTIST I may be able to beam us there.

She/he goes to the console and operates it for a while. Soon they’re beamed away.

Scene XXXVIII “Getting Out And Getting Help” EXT. Space – S18 Station

The Infiltrator gets out of the base, which soon explodes. The Infiltrator is making its way out of the asteroid field at maximum speed.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK Commander, I am detecting an explosion inside the asteroid field.

DRILL Can you identify the source?

SPRAK I believe it to be the Section 18 base.

GHI’LA Sir, I’m picking up a signal… it’s from the Infiltrator.

DRILL On screen.

Grillka comes to the screen.

GRILLKA (on viewscreen) Deket/Drill you gotta contact strategic command immediately. There are lots of hostile ships heading out of the asteroid field, they’re the ones we encountered two years ago at the Peace Station and we need some serious help.

DRILL Roger, are you alright?

GRILLKA (on viewscreen) Barely, but we’ll tell you more once we get back, Grillka out.

DRILL Contact strategic command.

Ghi’la works for a while and soon establishes contact.

GHI’LA Fleet Admiral Nechen responding.

Nechen comes to the screen.

NECHEN Yes, commander?

DRILL I was just informed by Commander Grillka that a hostile fleet is emerging out of the asteroid field located in this system. We need help in stopping them.

NECHEN (on viewscreen) What sort of hostile fleet?

DRILL Owned by the aliens we encountered two years ago at the Peace Station.

NECHEN (on viewscreen) Are you certain?

DRILL Yeah.

NECHEN (on viewscreen) Our resources are spread rather thin… I’m not sure can I send any ships, especially now that this came so fast…

DRILL But we have hundreds of ships patrolling the borders just near of here.

NECHEN (on viewscreen) We can’t leave the IPA border unprotected!

DRILL This is more important than some border disputes with the IPA, surely you must see that.

NECHEN (on viewscreen) (sighs) Alright, I’ll do what I can. Nechen out.

DRILL Ghi’la, send a message to the colonial defense forces to join the GA fleet once they arrive.

GHI’LA Yes, sir.

EXT. Space

We see the Sentinel engaging something. The ship remains a mystery to us for the first few seconds. The Sentinel is also taking some fire, but it doesn’t seem to be affecting it. Then we see an Emissary capital ship taking fire and at the same time firing itself. The Emissary ship is being hit by the plasma lance and soon looses its shields. Then we see incinerator beams being fired at the Emissary ship, but from very far away. Then again a CLOSE-UP on the Sentinel, which is firing incinerator beams and some torpedoes. Then the Emissary ship again, which soon stops shooting. After this we hear a communication.

FIRST OFFICER OF ANTHELION (v.o.) The escapee has been disabled.

INT. Anthelion Bridge

The Anthelion bridge is shown. Captain Branson is sitting on the captain’s chair.

CAPTAIN BRANSON Make sure that won’t happen again.

Suddenly a beeping sound comes from the computer, first officer of Anthelion investigates.

FIRST OFFICER Sir, sensors are picking up the signature.

CAPTAIN BRANSON Another escapee?

FIRST OFFICER I don’t think so, it’s coming from GA space. From Donor system.

CAPTAIN BRANSON What could be causing it?

FIRST OFFICER I don’t know sir, but it seems that a small portion of their fleet has been diverted there.

CAPTAIN BRANSON Set a course then, maximum jump.

FIRST OFFICER Aye, sir.

EXT. Space – The Exploreison

The Exploreison is moving towards the asteroid field. The Infiltrator enters its hangar.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Grillka comes to the bridge and sits on the first officer’s chair.

GRILLKA Report.

NOAREN We’re moving towards the asteroid field and will reach it in 15 minutes. The GA fleet should be on its way soon.

GRILLKA Excellent. Keep monitoring the hostile fleet and possible Section 18 ships.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Quarters

Min’da is speaking with another T-Race member.

MIN’DA The energy we left here six hundred years ago has been finally recovered.

T-RACE MEMBER #1 Excellent. We cannot loose any of our precious energy.

MIN’DA The fleet of Kar’ha’sa has been released and are heading back to their former base on Donor three.

T-RACE MEMBER #1 Do you think the Gigerdians can defeat them?

MIN’DA I cannot be of certain, depends how many ships they can mobilize.

T-RACE MEMBER #1 In case you need help the ship you’ve requested is waiting for your signal.

MIN’DA I fear there might be more on that planet than the Section 18 has found.

T-RACE MEMBER #1 Yes… after the Kar’ha’sa destroyed our base there they were not alone. Did you recover everything else that we left?

MIN’DA Yes, because of this unique possibility I simply could not waste it.

T-RACE MEMBER #1 You did wisely. Finally we also have confirmation that they no longer have working base of operations there.

MIN’DA I will contact you once I receive more information.

Scene XXXIX “Engineering Prepares For the Battle” INT. Exploreison Engineering

Drill and the OTHER ENGINEERS are busy preparing the engineering for the upcoming battle.

DRILL I want you to double-check everything. I don’t want any surprises now that we’re up against something we really have no knowledge of. Be prepared for ANYTHING.

OFFICERS Yes, sir.

DRILL Good, now let’s get to work.

OFFICER Sir, there’s some fluctuations in the incinerator beam power systems.

DRILL That’s impossible. There’s no way there could have gone anything. It was checked only two days ago and no one’s been there since then… weird… check it out and repair it. Now that we’re going to battle we certainly won’t need anything like these.

OFFICER Yes, sir.

DRILL What could possibly be causing all these odd malfunctions…?

Drill is left to wonder.

Scene XL “Preparations for the Battle” EXT. Space – Exploreison

The Exploreison is proceeding closer to the asteroid field.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Grillka is sitting on the captain’s chair.

GRILLKA What’s the status of the unknown fleet?

SPRAK It appears to be proceeding out of the asteroid field. I cannot ascertain the exact amount of ships in the fleet, but I can confirm the existence of at least 6 capital ships and 103 fighters.

GRILLKA Well, that’s quite a lot. I hope that the GA fleet will get here soon. Keep us clear of the enemy fleet for now.

SHARON Aye, sir.

INT. Exploreison Sickbay

MOOROP Well, you both should be fine now. Although you might feel some dizziness for a while, but it’ll pass. If anything comes up, just come here for examination. You both had internal bleeding and severe concussion. If you hadn’t been treated in time you would’ve died.

MORA Thanks doctor. That Section 18 scientist definitely wasn’t an ordinary Gigerdian.

GIGERDIUS You’re right about that, and has now released that fleet of… whatever ships they are. Hopefully the GA fleet will get here in time, since organizing a fleet in such a short notice may not be easy, especially now after the Lightness war is over and the IPA has been formed.

MORA I’m sure they’ll get here in time, but we probably should be getting back to the bridge since that fleet might arrive at anytime.

GIGERDIUS Yeah. Thanks again doc.

MOOROP No problem. Do your best out there.

MORA We will.

INT. Exploreison Security Munitions Room

R’Derex is giving orders to the SECURITY OFFICERS.

R’DEREX We’re about to go into a battle with an enemy we have very little knowledge of. We encountered one member of this mysterious race a few years back and it possessed extreme physical strength. I’m sure all of you have read the report. In case we’re being boarded stay in teams and do not engage the enemy alone. Inform all the other teams of your location in case they have boarded us in secret. Also be prepared for anything, telepathic interference or different form of weaponry, since these are still quite mysterious guys to us. Any questions?

T’LAR What if they start to control our own people?

R’DEREX Do whatever you have to stop them, but in that case avoid lethal force by any means necessary, but if it’s the only way to stop them, you have been authorized to use it.

OFFICER or T’LAR Understood, sir.

R’DEREX Any other questions?

If someone can figure out some good questions here, then just add them.

Once R’Derex gets no reply:

R’DEREX Good, gear up and report to the team leaders in 15 minutes.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Mora and Gigerdius come in, Grillka goes to her chair and both Gigerdius and Mora sit on their own places.

MORA What’s the status?

SPRAK The fleet has moved out of the asteroid field and appears to be proceeding towards Donor three.

GIGERDIUS Where they had their base…

MIN’DA They must still think that the base exists on the planet.

MORA Well, we could use their confusion to our advantage.

GRILLKA As soon as the fleet will arrive.

MIN’DA They may depart as soon as they notice that their base is gone and thus may attack anything they come in contact en route to their own galaxy.

MORA Which might cause the destruction of several outposts or planets before we could destroy them…

GRILLKA All the more reason to eliminate them as soon as possible.

R’Derex comes to the bridge.

GIGERDIUS Agreed. We just have to hope the fleet will arrive soon.

R’Derex walks to Sprak.

R’DEREX I heard you wanted me to be found.

SPRAK During the situation your loss meant a great loss to our already small resources. We needed your expertise.

R’DEREX But I was getting so comfortable at the station when no one was telling me how to run things logically.

Sprak raises his eyebrows.

R’DEREX (laughs) It’s good to be back again here, and nice to know that you were actually worried about my well-being.

SPRAK That was not the reason.

R’DEREX Always the ever same Lihter… good luck to you in the battle, somehow I think we’re all gonna need it.

SPRAK While I do not believe in luck I do share your discomfort of the situation.

R’Derex goes to the security console.

EXT. Space – Emissary Fleet

We see the Emissary fleet heading towards the planet. Then the Exploreison holding position near the asteroid field.

Scene XLI “Unexpected Help Arrives” INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK Captain, I am picking up jump signatures straight ahead.

Mora stands up and says

MORA On screen.

We see the viewscreen and three ships emerging from the jump space. The ships are not GA in origin.

GRILLKA Those are Federation starships.

GIGERDIUS Yes. The new Anthelion-class and the new Logos-class.

GHI’LA They’re hailing us.

MORA On screen.

The picture of CAPTAIN BRANSON appears to the screen.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Greetings, captain. I heard you might be in need of ‘some’ assistance.

MORA You heard correctly captain. Thank you for coming to our aid. Just wondering that how did you heard of our situation anyway?

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Well, we were patrolling the IPA border very near the GA space and Starfleet informed us that they had received a request from the GA military if we could send a few ships to this system. Apparently, the GA military had a hard time getting enough ships in here.

MORA Well, it’s good that you’re here. We need all the help we can get. We’re still waiting for the GA fleet to arrive. You receive your orders once they arrive.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Understood captain. Anthelion out.

GRILLKA Good thing we have at least some allies here already.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, but that fleet had better arrive soon.

Alternate INT. Resistance Base

We’re in some resistance base. Justin and some others can be seen there. A resistance member comes in to the room.

RESISTANCE MEMBER #3 Sir, it appears that some kind of an accident has occurred at the Section 18 base and some unknown ships have escaped.

JUSTIN GRON What is the Exploreison doing?

RESISTANCE MEMBER #3 They are following them, and are accompanied by three Starfleet vessels.

JUSTIN GRON Starfleet? Weird, why would they be interested in coming here so quickly…

RESISTANCE MEMBER #3 I do not know sir, but they seem to have one big ship with them.

JUSTIN GRON Seems like there would be something else at work here… but we should leave this system immediately, it’ll become quite crowded soon and we don’t want to be here then. I hope the Exploreison’s crew can stop those ships… Signal the ship and tell to prep for launch.

RESISTANCE MEMBER #3 Yes, sir!

JUSTIN GRON Starfleet must have something in their minds now…

INT. Exploreison Bridge

Either a direct continuation from the last bridge-scene or after whatever other scene before this.

Sprak notices something on the sensors.

SPRAK Captain, I am picking up several jump signatures.

GRILLKA Guess they’re finally here.

We see several (23) GA ships to emerge from jump space.

GHI’LA We’re being hailed captain.

MORA On screen.

CAPTAIN HERFD (captain of the Lulsa-class battle cruiser, G.A.S. Hammerfest) appears to the screen.

CAPTAIN HERFD (on viewscreen) Greetings captain. Admiral, we’re at your command.

Gigerdius and everyone else look amazed.

GIGERDIUS Under my command? I thought they were sending someone more qualified to command the battle.

CAPTAIN HERFD (on viewscreen) According to our orders, you’re the one commanding the fleet.

Mora and Gigerdius exchange looks.

GIGERDIUS Great, like I could have prepared for this or have any real experience on this kind of battles. Sometimes I just can’t understand what the hell the military officials are thinking.

Mora grins.

MORA Anyway, good that you’re here. Mr. Gigerdius will soon be giving you battle orders so prepare your crew now, if you haven’t done that already. And I hope you’ve read the reports.

CAPTAIN HERFD (on viewscreen) I have read them. We’ll be ready. Hammerfest out.

GIGERDIUS I’d better head to the ready room to coordinate this thing, although I have no experience in this and I even haven’t had any time to prepare.

MORA I’m sure you will do fine.

MIN’DA You will, admiral.

GIGERDIUS Thanks. Take good care of her Gill, no reason for us to start blowing up.

MORA We’ll be fine, but get to work already!

GIGERDIUS I will…

Then he goes to his ready room.

MORA All hands, battle stations! Launch fighters!

EXT. Space – Near the Asteroid Field

The fleet is gathering around the Exploreison. Smaller ships going into places they fit in. They start to slowly advance towards the Emissary fleet.

EXT. Space – The Emissary Fleet

We see them getting closer. We also see that there are exactly 10 Emissary capital ships in the fleet and that it contains hundreds of fighters and several of the “unknown enemy ships” from Harbinger.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

They are preparing for the upcoming battle.

FHOGLI All weapon control stations are reporting ready, sir.

GHI’LA Communications ready.

NOAREN Shields operational at full capacity, sir.

SPRAK Sensors online, sir.

SHARON Helm ready.

R’DEREX Security reports ready.

And Drill through communicator:

DRILL (v.o) Engineering ready, captain.

GRILLKA Entire ship reports ready.

MORA Good. Guess we’re ready then.

Mora presses a button on his console.

MORA (cont.) Admiral, we’re ready here.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

Now, if we can get really good effects then Gigerdius should have a 3D map of the battle field floating above his table and 2D map on his computer. If not then simply 2D or 3D map of the area on his computer screen.

GIGERDIUS Good.

Gigerdius then presses a button on his computer.

GIGERDIUS (cont.) Vice admiral Gigerdius to the battle fleet. The enemy we’re facing is unlike anything we’ve seen before. We don’t even know their real name yet. I’m now sending you the formation information. You will soon be informed of primary, secondary and tertiary targets. Half of the fighter wings will support the bombers in their attack. The rest will either engage the enemy fighters or provide support for the capital ships. Do not request fighter support unless you really need it.

At some point the view could be switched to Anthelion and Hammerfest.

Then he notices that the fleet is in formation.

GIGERDIUS (cont.) I’m now sending you the target information. All fighters and bombers will also be supplied the necessary target information.

CAPTAIN HERFD (v. o.) Fleet reports ready sir.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (v. o.) We’re ready, admiral.

GIGERDIUS Engage.

Scene XLII “Striking Back” EXT. Space – The Fleet

The fleet is moving towards the Emissary fleet. They accelerate to 50 km/s.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK We will be in weapon’s range in 24 minutes.

SHARON Current velocity is about 50 km/s, 1/6 of light speed.

SPRAK Captain, I am picking up some unusual sensor readings coming from the Anthelion.

MORA Send the information to my console.

Mora looks at the information and recognizes something.

MORA (cont.) Hmm… contact the captain of the Anthelion.

GHI’LA Yes, sir.

Captain Branson appears to the screen.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Captain, what is it that you need to talk about?

MORA We picked up some sensor readings that indicate that you would be equipped with a modified version of the HL-47 Plasma Lance.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) That’s correct captain, the HL-50 Plasma Lance, and we’re ready to use it here as well.

MORA From what I’ve read in the Research and Exploration reports the HL-47 can only be fired 10 times and is inaccurate and ineffective at long range, which is why it was never installed. And I’m quite confident that this version isn’t too good either since it hasn’t been appearing on the front-page news, or it’s some kind of classified project.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) It’s not perfect weapon captain, but still it should come in handy, especially in situations like these. And from what I’ve heard it’s no secret project.

MORA Understood, Exploreison out.

GRILLKA I haven’t even heard about the HL-47 project.

MORA It was a co-project with Starfleet and Research and Exploration. However, it was decided that the weapon shouldn’t be installed to any ships until a better version is made. And guess a better version was made.

He presses a button on his console and accesses the research net.

MORA (cont.) It looks like a new version has been made.

He presses some buttons again. Captain Branson comes to the screen.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Captain, you reviewed the info?

MORA Yes and it does appear to be an upgrade from the previous versions, but it’s still risky to use it.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) That’s a risk we’re willing to take captain.

MORA We may be able to win this fight without it.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Maybe captain, but I’d rather make sure that we have as good changes as possible. So nothing you’re gonna say will make me change my mind, and we need to test this thing in action anyway.

MORA Very well, but try to avoid using it as much as possible.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (on viewscreen) Will do.

MORA Good, Exploreison out.

He again presses some buttons.

MORA (cont.) Gigerdius, it looks the Anthelion is equipped with a HL-50 Plasma Lance; an enhanced version of the HL-47 with improved accuracy and range.

GIGERDIUS (v. o.) I thought that that project was cancelled.

MORA Yeah so did I, but it seems that a new version was made after all.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

GIGERDIUS Well, good to know. Thanks for the info Gill.

MORA (v. o.) No problem, Mora out.

INT. Anthelion Bridge

The Anthelion’s captain is talking with his first officer. It would be nice to have some of the odder UFP members as crewmembers. You know B²s, Lihters, 1110110110101111s, etc. but their make-up might be difficult to do and doing them as CG may be difficult as well.

The first officer would preferably not be human. Gigerdian, Lihter or some other would be better. For now the first officer will be COMMANDER TU’UON.

COMMANDER TU’UON Sir… are you sure it was a good idea to come and help the GA fleet – with these ships?

CAPTAIN BRANSON Since we’re dealing with that… peculiar species it was crucial to come here. And from the looks of it they really need our help.

COMMANDER TU’UON But this might expose the whole operation.

CAPTAIN BRANSON I know, but over 300 years of alliance wasn’t built for nothing. Sometimes you just have to take risks to set things right and besides, there’s no way we’re letting those ships get outta here.

COMMANDER TU’UON The amount of fleet the GA sent seems to indicate that they may not want them to succeed.

CAPTAIN BRANSON That’s possible, then again, it’s also possible that they just couldn’t spare any more. The Lightness War did end just about seven months ago and you don’t rebuild everything in a day – not even in seven months.

COMMANDER TU’UON I hope you’re right. But we better head back to the facility as soon as possible.

CAPTAIN BRANSON I don’t plan on taking a vacation here, so don’t worry. Everything will be fine.

COMMANDER TU’UON I’m just worried about another escape attempt, that’s all.

CAPTAIN BRANSON They don’t need us to guard 24h a day, you know that.

COMMANDER TU’UON Yes, sir. I’m just worried, that’s all.

CAPTAIN BRANSON So am I, but right now we can only do what we came to do.

EXT. Space – The Fleet Approaching

The GA fleet is seen to be approaching the third planet.

Scene XLIII “The Battle Begins” INT. Exploreison Bridge

The crew is getting nervous on the bridge. We see a CLOSE-UP of every BRIDGE OFFICER.

SPRAK Three minutes to weapon’s range.

MORA This is it people. Slow down to 20 km/s as soon as we’re in weapon’s range.

SHARON Aye, sir.

SPRAK The enemy fleet appears to contain 10 capital ships and at least 254 fighters. As well as 14 of the ships, we encountered two years ago.

GRILLKA Somehow, I think this won’t be easy.

MORA Yeah, but we can’t let them get away. We’ll stop them, no matter what.

EXT. Space – The Fleet Slowing Down

The fleet slows down to 20 km/s.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

GIGERDIUS Group one; commence firing on the primary targets.

EXT. Space – The Fleet Engaging

Five ships in the GA fleet (G.A.S. Hammerfest, G.A.S. Imperfection, G.A.S. Stratagem, G.A.S. Vaporizer and G.A.S. Bliss) start to fire beams at the Emissary fleet, which isn’t visible because it’s so far away.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK At this range, it will take 1 minute for the beam weapons to reach the target and by then the energy load has already dissipated almost completely.

EXT. Space – The Emissary Fleet

Beams start to appear and most of them go pass them, but one or two actually hit the capital ships, some hit the fighters and destroy them.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK The enemy fleet is moving towards us and firing.

MORA Evasive maneuvers, but stay in the formation.

SHARON Aye, sir.

EXT. Space – The Fleet

The ships are making minor evasive maneuvers to evade the Emissary beams.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

Gigerdius notices that the enemy fleet is proceeding at them at full speed and will reach them in about 2 minutes.

EXT. Space – The Emissary Fleet

They are approaching the GA fleet fast and same time constantly shooting at the GA fleet and evading as they are being fired at.

EXT. Space – The Fleet

Doing the same thing as the Emissary fleet, except not advancing nearly as fast, but still constantly firing and evading.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK We will reach optimum firing range in 10 seconds.

MORA Fire torpedoes as soon as we’re in optimum firing range.

EXT. Space – The Fleet

Soon the fleets are only about 2 000 km from each other. Both fleets slow down. All the GA ships fire enormous amount of torpedoes and fire loads of beams as well. The fighters proceed to engage. We see a CLOSE-UP of several fighters starting to shoot the plasma cannons. Then we see Emissary fighters being hit and destroyed, and firing beams. Then another shot of GA fighters being destroyed and firing. Bombers shooting their fusion cannons. Some bombers firing torpedoes at the Emissary capital ships. Shot of Emissary capital ships taking hits and firing both beams and torpedoes.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

GIGERDIUS Illusion and Affirmer, protect the Imperfection.

EXT. Space – The Battle

We see a CLOSE-UP of a Prime class cruiser taking heavy fire (G.A.S. Imperfection); its shields have already been penetrated. The Emissary ships have apparently concentrated their fire on it. We see some fighters shooting as well. A Jotta class corvette (G.A.S. Affirmer) and a Valencia class cruiser (G.A.S. Illusion) come to assist the G.A.S. Imperfection. The Valencia takes fire from the Emissary capital ships and the Jotta engages the enemy fighters and bombers. The Prime keeps getting lots of hits from the fighters and is destroyed. The Valencia has to move into shelter as its shields begin to fail. The Logos-class cruisers and Exploreison make a run on the damaged Emissary ship. They fire a lot of beams and torpedoes significantly damaging the Emissary ship.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Shields down to 70%.

MORA Move us farther from the enemy, auxiliary power to shields.

EXT. Space – The Battle

We see the whole GA fleet now, all of them are firing and the Valencia withdraws (G.A.S. Illusion). Then a CLOSE-UP of several GA bombers engaging the Emissary capital ships. Several of them are destroyed by the capital ships. They make one joint run with the fighters and destroy one of the smaller Emissary capital ships. We see some battle between the fighters and bombers. Both of the Barracuda destroyers have taken heavy fire. The other one manages to withdraw (G.A.S. Dissonant), but the other one is destroyed (G.A.S. Perspective). We see a CLOSE-UP of Gammas firing (G.A.S. Vaporizer, G.A.S. Subterfuge and G.A.S. Invisible Light).

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

GIGERDIUS I’m now relaying targeting orders for the Anthelion’s plasma lance. Clear the way for it.

EXT. Space – The Battle

Fighters are heavily engaging the Emissary fighters. The GA cap ships also target the enemy fighters. After a while of this the Anthelion fires twice at the damaged Emissary capital ship, destroying it. After this, the fleet proceeds to attack the next Emissary capital ship. One Olympia (G.A.S. Midnight) withdraws from the battle.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Shields down to 40 %

MORA Keep firing! Reroute power from the tractor beams to the shields.

EXT. Space – The Exploreison

CLOSE-UP of Exploreison constantly firing and taking heavy damage to its shields.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Shields down to 25%.

GRILLKA Captain, we can’t take much more of this.

MORA Keep firing dammit!

NOAREN Rerouting emergency power to shields.

EXT. Space – The Battle

We see a portion of the GA fleet firing (G.A.S. Immaculate, G.A.S. Resplendent, G.A.S. Stratagem, G.A.S. Abridger, G.A.S. Bliss, G.A.S. Invisible Light, U.F.S. Challenger, U.F.S. Wargasm and G.A.S. Hammerfest). None of them is taking fire. We see 10 of the ‘Unknown enemy ships’ attacking the Exploreison. This time they aren’t penetrating her shields, but are still inflicting heavy damage. The light incinerator beams are trying to fend them off, but with little luck. Several fighters are there as well, but they either can’t do much. One of the unknown ships is still destroyed. We see one of the Emissary cap ships being destroyed by several torpedo and beam attacks. Six Emissary cap ships left. The Anthelion fires three shots at one of the Emissary cap ships, destroying it. The U.F.S. Wargasm looses its shields, but remains in the battle.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Bridge

(Note: This scene is completely optional and can easily be removed, as well as every other alternate scenes relating to this whole “shooting onboard the Exploreison”-thing)

NOAREN We’ve lost shields, captain!

MORA Take us a bit farther, but do not disengage.

R’DEREX Captain, we’re being boarded! Security alert, we’re being boarded. All security personal prepare for battle!

GRILLKA Why it just had to be our ship…

MORA Somehow, I think this is hardly a coincidence.

They both look at Min’da.

MIN’DA It is possible that they have detected my presence and seek to capture me. I cannot allow myself to be captured, even if it means taking my own life.

MORA No one’s taking you from here now, I’ll guarantee it.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Corridor, Bridge Deck

R’Derex comes.

R’DEREX Where are the intruders?

T’LAR They should be right behind that door.

She points to a door

R’DEREX All right people, we have to make our stand here. Take your positions.

The officers go to their positions, not long after this the door blows up.

The Emissaries come in shooting and the security officers start to shoot as well. The Emissaries are not equipped with personal shields. However, they are beamed out as soon as they are hit. The Emissaries hit almost always. At some point, R’Derex looses his rifle and then takes out an incinerator pistol.

Alternate EXT. Space – The Battle

The Exploreison remains in the battle even that her shields are down. However, she’s taking more cover from the other GA ships (G.A.S. Hammerfest, G.A.S. Stratagem, G.A.S. Abridger, G.A.S. Equinox, G.A.S. Mathematics, G.A.S. Apparition, G.A.S. Repentance, G.A.S. Paragon and G.A.S. Hunter) and is no longer the main target for the Emissary fleet.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Hull breaches on decks 543 and 542, emergency forcefields are holding.

MORA Evacuate the outer areas. All available security forces to deck 42.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Corridor, Bridge Deck

The battle continues, however, the Exploreison security forces are getting an upper hand as the internal defenses come online.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Shields down to 15%.

MORA Move us a bit farther from the enemy fleet, but keep firing.

Scene XLIV “The Battle Rages on” EXT. Space – The Battle

The battle rages on. One of the Emissary ships is destroyed and one is taking heavy damage. Five Emissary ships left. Wargasm is disabled, but becomes protected by the Challenger and the Hammerfest. G.A.S. Subterfuge is destroyed.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Corridor, Bridge Deck

The Emissaries are forced to retreat; all of them beam out of the Exploreison.

R’DEREX Looks like we’ve won.

T’LAR Yeah, but with heavy cost.

R’DEREX I think most of them can still be revived; those things didn’t seem to be too interested of us, just trying to get past us.

T’LAR So, they probably weren’t trying to take over the ship, but rather to take someone with them who they can’t simply beam out.

They look at each other as they both realize something.

R’DEREX Min’da of course. They can’t just beam her out of here so they were here either to kill her or to capture her. I believe that to capture.

T’LAR Yeah, so do I, but we should be prepared for another attack.

R’DEREX Indeed, you’d better go to prepare for another battle, I’ll head back to the bridge.

T’LAR OK.

They both leave.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Bridge

R’Derex comes in.

R’DEREX The attackers have been repelled, but we should be prepared for another attack.

MORA Good work there R’Derex.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

GIGERDIUS First group; commence attack on the other Emissary ships. Groups two and three continue your attack.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Bridge

NOAREN Shields have been restored; they’re currently at 7%.

EXT. Space – The Battle

We see the G.A.S. Repentance departing and being protected by G.A.S. Resplendent, G.A.S. Stratagem, G.A.S. Paragon and G.A.S. Vaporizer. Then we see G.A.S. Mathematics and G.A.S. Apparition taking heavy damage. Apparition’s shields fail and it’s heavily damaged, almost destroyed. Mathematics manages to jump away.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

CAPTAIN HERFD (v.o.) We’re losing ships!

GIGERDIUS We have to keep fighting and stay in-group!

EXT. Space – The Battle

G.A.S. Paragon is destroyed as it attempts to make a desperate run on one of the Emissary ships. Challenger, Anthelion and Hammerfest destroy two Emissary capital ships. Three are anymore left. Fighters doing heavy assault on one of them and have already damaged it a lot. G.A.S. Hunter and G.A.S. Salute depart heavily damaged. Unknown Enemy ships are severely damaging G.A.S. Immaculate, but it manages to destroy several of them with the help of several fighters and G.A.S. Equinox. Rest of the GA fleet is attacking the Emissary fleet, which is now in the loosing position. We again see fighters fighting against each other, the fleet battles in the background.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

FHOGLI We’re starting to get the upper hand.

GRILLKA About time if you ask me.

Mora grins.

EXT. Space – The Battle

We see a CLOSE-UP of an Emissary capital ship. The Hammerfest and the Challenger make an attack run and destroy it. We see many bombers attacking one of the last Emissary cap ships. Then fighters and corvettes destroying a lot of Emissary fighters and unknown enemy ships. The Emissaries start to head towards the planet. The other Emissary cap ship’s engines are destroyed before it manages to accelerate. The whole fleet pursues the last Emissary ship and in the process destroys the other one.

Scene XLV “The Final Blow” INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK Captain, I am picking up a signal emanating from the hostile ship and headed down to the planet.

MORA Can you identify the content of that message?

SPRAK No, sir. It is heavily encrypted.

GRILLKA Perhaps they’re calling their friends?

MORA Well I certainly hope not.

EXT. Space – The Battle

The Emissary ship soon reaches the planet, but is under heavy attack by the GA fleet. It has lost almost all of its fighters and unknown enemy ships. Then we see a ship coming from the planet.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK I am picking up an unknown ship coming from the planet.

MORA On screen.

The image of the approaching ship appears to the screen.

FHOGLI I think it’s powering up its weapon systems.

SHARON Beginning evasive maneuvers.

We see a CLOSE-UP of Min’da who recognizes the ship instantly and certainly isn’t happy about it.

EXT. Space – The Battle

The Lervian ship starts firing. Its beams penetrate the G.A.S. Equinox’s shields and cause severe damage to her hull. The Lervian ship keeps firing and severely damaging the Equinox. The fleet engages the unknown ship.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK The unknown ship’s shields are receiving merely minor damage. We cannot defeat it with conventional weaponry.

GRILLKA Which means…

But before she is able to complete her sentence:

GIGERDIUS (v.o.) I know, I’ll tell them to use it.

EXT. Space – The Battle

The Lervian ship destroys the Equinox and doesn’t much seem to even notice that it’s under attack. It then attacks the G.A.S. Abridger, which shields either can’t stop the Lervian ship’s beams. We see a close-up of Anthelion starting to fire her main cannon. As soon as the Lervian ship is hit once, it turns to attack the Anthelion, also penetrating her shields. The Anthelion manages to shoot all five shots that it still had left, but has received major damage then. The Lervian ship looses its shields and gets some hull damage from the plasma weapon. The rest of the fleet mount an all-out strike at it and manage to destroy it, before it could damage the Anthelion anymore. Alternate: Alternatively this scene could have Justin Gron’s galaxy class ship as well. After the battle is over we see the ship accelerating away from the fleet and Gron communicating to the Exploreison at the same time.

JUSTIN GRON (v.o.) Well done admiral, couldn’t have done that better myself. And remember to keep an open mind.

After this, the ship jumps away.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

SPRAK The target has been destroyed.

GRILLKA Everything reports OK.

MORA Excellent.

He presses a button on his computer.

MORA (cont.) Gigerdius, you did a good job.

INT. Exploreison Ready Room

Gigerdius is relieved that the battle is over, but he isn’t so glad about it.

GIGERDIUS I’m not so sure about that.

MORA (v. o.) You did the best you could and that was more than enough.

GIGERDIUS I hope so…

Alternate:

SPRAK The target has been destroyed.

MORA It was about time to end this… but that communications. It was from Justin Gron… did anyone else hear it?

GHI’LA It appears to have been transmitted so that only we can hear it, but I cannot guarantee anything.

GRILLKA It seems he found this situation to be good enough to make a run for it.

The Anthelion manages to shoot all five shots that it still had left, but has received major damage then. The Lervian ship looses its shields, just barely. Suddenly a huge unknown ship jumps to the battlefield. It’s a Healer heavy cruiser, though at this point they don’t know that. The Healer ship mounts a heavy strike at the Lervian cruiser, destroying it in just a few seconds. After this, leaving as mysteriously as it had arrived.

Alternate INT. Exploreison Bridge

GRILLKA What was that?

SPRAK I cannot ascertain the origin of that vessel. However, it did seem to posses significant weaponry and be roughly 14 kilometers long.

MORA Who are they? Why they helped us and left without saying a word?

GRILLKA Somehow I think it’s gonna take a long time for us to get an answer to that.

She looks at Min’da. After a while Mora looks at Min’da too.

Scene XLVI “The Aftermath” INT. Exploreison Bridge

GIGERDIUS comes to the bridge.

GHI’LA The U.F.S. Anthelion is hailing us.

MORA On screen.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (On viewscreen) You did surprisingly good job admiral. If I hadn’t known better, I’d think you are a tactician.

GIGERDIUS Well, thank you captain…

CAPTAIN BRANSON (On viewscreen) Branson, I’m Captain Branson. I apologize for not introducing myself before.

GIGERDIUS Nice to meet you Captain Branson and I simply did what I, unfortunately, had to do.

MORA Your ship took some damage, are you okay there?

CAPTAIN BRANSON (On viewscreen) We’re fine, but we’re gonna need repairs sometime soon I have to admit. So, without further delay, we’d like to head for repairs if there isn’t anything else you need us to do?

GIGERDIUS You’re free to go captain and thanks for coming to the rescue, I’m quite sure that we wouldn’t have made it without you.

CAPTAIN BRANSON (On viewscreen) No problem admiral, glad to be of service. Anthelion out.

EXT. Space – The Fleet

Anthelion, Wargasm and Challenger depart from the area. Challenger is towing Wargasm.

INT. Exploreison Bridge

GRILLKA This thing did cost us a lot.

MORA Yeah, many lives were lost today… hopefully preventing the deaths of countless others.

EXT. Space – The Battlefield

The space is full of debris and damaged ships. Some last Emissary fighters are destroyed. A fighter squadron goes past the camera.

Scene XLVII “The Cliff-hanger Ending/Normi Gets Shot” INT. Exploreison Bridge

GIGERDIUS Nevertheless, our job here isn’t over, yet.

MORA Yes… we have to reveal all that has happened here.

GRILLKA Unfortunately Normi being pretty much our only proof if even him can be considered as one.

GIGERDIUS Ghi’la, send the message to Normi, we need to meet him.

MORA And hail the Hammerfest. Someone has to believe us.

Ghi’la works at the console for a while. Soon Hammerfest’s captain appears to the viewscreen.

CAPTAIN HERFD (On viewscreen) Yes, captain?

MORA We’d need you to visit the colony… there’s a certain person you should meet.

CAPTAIN HERFD (On viewscreen) That is a rather unusual request.

MORA I am aware of that, but there was much more going on here than those unknown ships and that person is pretty much the only one that can say anything what really happened here.

CAPTAIN HERFD (On viewscreen) Very well then captain, we’ll meet you planet-side in half an hour.

MORA Acknowledged, Exploreison out.

GHI’LA I sent the signal; Normi will meet you planet-side in ten minutes.

GRILLKA Let’s go then.

R’DEREX Are you sure it’s wise to send Normi on the planet’s surface? Somehow I don’t think the Section 18 is just gonna give up.

MORA I’m afraid we have no choice right now.

NOAREN Sir, with all due respect, the lieutenant-commander is speaking the truth here. There’s no way we can guarantee Mr. Normi’s safety, considering of the resources the Section 18 has in disposal.

GIGERDIUS You’re right, but if he’s willing to take the risk I won’t be stoppin’ him.

R’DEREX I recommend we do this aboard this ship. Section 18 might have three dozen killer goons on that planet and we don’t even know it! The operation they had running here could only look like a picnic invaded by ants to them.

MORA That would be safer yes, but Normi has a lot of people down there that he needs to introduce and we can’t find them without him.

NOAREN We have the scientist here as well.

MORA She’s gonna stay here. Section 18 would be extremely interested of her.

R’DEREX I have a feeling that you’re going to regret this.

GIGERDIUS Let’s hope we won’t.

EXT. The Colony Centrum – Day

Normi and the Exploreison crewmembers are walking on the streets. The Hammerfest’s commanding officer is walking towards them as well.

MORA Glad you could join us Captain Herfd. There’s one person you should meet.

CAPTAIN HERFD I’m anxious to hear why I was requested down here, I hope it’s worth all of this trouble.

MORA It will be… this is Mr. Normi. He has quite of a story to tell…

They’re going to shake their hands when suddenly Normi is shot on the chest. He falls down to Mora’s arms and dies. Everybody is shocked.

This scene was written rather hastily and also does feel like a quick ending to the movie. Suggestions are welcome if there are any.

Alternate Suggested Scene “The End” INT. Exploreison Bridge

This scene probably won’t be done due to the cliff-hanger ending. Might become the ending for Prophecy.

Mora comes to the bridge; everyone else is at their stations, expect for Gigerdius.

MORA Where’s Gigerdius?

GRILLKA He wanted to take one last look of the colony.

MORA I think I know why.

Mora leaves from the bridge.

GRILLKA I wonder what it is that the admiral is so interested there...

MIN’DA I believe it has something to do with the fact that it is night in the main city.

EXT. Donor Colony, Main City, Street or Park – Evening

Gigerdius is sitting on a chair in the street or park; he’s looking up at the stars. Mora walks towards him.

GIGERDIUS Gill, what brings you here?

MORA Same thing that brought you here, too.

Mora sits down.

GIGERDIUS I just wanted to take one last look at ‘em. Of course I could have watched them easily back at the Exploreison, but I still wanted to see what kind of they looked here.

MORA Yeah, I used to watch them when I was a kid.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, me too. I always looked up at the stars, and dreamed…

MORA …About other worlds.

GIGERDIUS And you too apparently.

MORA Yeah, that’s why I joined the military.

GIGERDIUS Well, I knew that as an ambassador I could visit them as well and do something better than in the military. Now I think I might have made more difference and saved more lives aboard the Exploreison than I did as an ambassador.

MORA We all must find our own way; you might have just found yours. Some people never find it, so you can be proud of that.

GIGERDIUS I just don’t know do I want to be, I still have my doubts, you know, but I think I’ll always have those.

MORA We all have doubts; you just have to learn to live with them, without letting them affect too much on your judgment.

GIGERDIUS I know. I just wish I would learn to live with them, but perhaps in time, I will.

MORA I know you will, as did I.

GIGERDIUS You never told me you had high doubts?

MORA I used to have, when I first became a commanding officer, but years after I finally realized that you just have to trust yourself and others in order to survive.

GIGERDIUS Sounds like some experience changed your attitude.

MORA You’re right, I’ll tell you about it someday.

GIGERDIUS I still enjoy my job, although when I first accepted it I thought I could never adjust to it, but it seems I have.

MORA I’m glad you do, since there would be no reason to remain here if you don’t. I also enjoy mine. She’s just so damn good ship with even better crew.

GIGERDIUS Yeah, you just can’t wish for anything else.

They sit a while silently looking at the stars.

MORA It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a real star field from a planet, even that we’ve visited so many new planets in the past, I’ve never found the time to look at them, except once.

GIGERDIUS But that was almost a year ago, during the Lightness war.

MORA Yeah, I should do this more often.

GIGERDIUS Me too.

MORA What do you say, should we go to explore them now?

GIGERDIUS I think it’s again time to see what’s out there.

They stand up from the chair and walk away. The camera then SLOWLY LOOKS UP at the sky and FADES to space…

EXT. Space – Exploreison Jumping

…where Exploreison proceeds past the camera and jumps away.
