Previously on G.A.S. Exploreison: ”We need to make some special security team, in case we’re boarded by some hostile aliens.” ”I created a security team, called the Hazard Team which has the best security officers.” ”Hopefully we don’t need to use Hazard Team ever.” ”I have began training the Hazard Team, but the programs available aren’t so good.” ”We need to make our own program for the Hazard Team.” ”We could use another team.” ”I still haven’t picked anyone to the second team, I will first need to see who is capable of being there.” ”Hopefully our program works.” And now the conclusion:
Security chief’s log stardate 65435.3: Mora, Gigerdius and Myself made a program for the Hazard Team, so that they could show what they’re capable of doing. I only hope this is gonna work. Hazard Team’s last performances haven’t been so good, but I suppose that takes time. I wasn’t any good security officer at first, but now I’m a security chief, it’s quite strange now that you think it. Anyway, T’Lar has also performed only adequately, which was a little surprise to me. Hopefully it just takes time, because if we’re gonna need Hazard Team they has to be well trained. Guess I see what happens soon, still two hours before the training program starts. Drill and Deket both chose one member for the Hazard Team, one capable of making some engineering stuff and other first aid, if needed. I’ll just sit and wait here, and hope for the best.
Two years ago their mission begun, first searching in the galaxy we know and then into the galaxy we don’t know. After the Lightness War their mission changed. First they were explorers and now they’re explorers again. These are the voyages of the G.A.S. Exploreison. As it goes into space where no Gigerdian has ever gone before.
Starring: Capt. Gigerdius, Capt. Gill Mora, Lieutenant-Commander Sprak, Lieutenant-Commander R'derex, Lieutenant-Commander Deket, Commander Grilka Lieutenant-Commander Drill, Lieutenant Fhogli, Lieutenant Ghi'la, Lieutenant Brian, Lieutenant Min'da and Ensign T’lar.
Chapter 1: Hazard Duty
R’Derex was sitting on his chair, waiting for the training to begin. Then T’Lar came in the room and asked: ”Have you decided who will be in the second team, yet?” ”What? Oh, well, no I haven’t actually.” answered R’Derex ”I’ve been thinking about it, but I haven’t decided who’s gonna be there yet.” he continued. Then T’Lar said: ”Well I should go and prepare for the program.” ”OK, hopefully You and the others will pass it well.” said R’Derex and then T’Lar said at the door: ”We’ll see it then.” and then she left. R’Derex was just sitting on his chair and thinking. T’Lar went back tot he Hazard team’s center.
Gigerdius and Mora were talking in the Mora’s ready room: ”This program is just the one Hazard team needs.” said Mora while he was sitting on his chair. Gigerdius just looked outside of the holowindow and then responded: ”I just hope they’ll pass it.” ”Yeah, we just might need their skills soon.” said Mora and turned to look out of the holowindow as well. Gigerdius then said: ”Hopefully Hemmoians won’t get their hands to that program.” ”Yeah! Especially that guy… What was his name again?” asked Mora and then Gigerdius laughed and said: ”Shok! Well, he is a strange person. But aren’t Hemmoians strange in general?” ”Yeah, I suppose they are. That’s just the way of the Hemmoians.” said Mora and then turned to face the table again. Gigerdius then started walking around and asked: ”Have we got any orders from GA Research & Exploration?” ”No, they haven’t given any orders to us yet, the last assignment wasn’t so hard, but there’s still plenty of planets in this galaxy.” answered Mora and then Gigerdius stopped to look out of the holowindow again and said: ”Here is, here surely is. Little too much even. It’s good that we’re not the only exploration ship out here.” ”Well it’s surely is good, it would have taken thousands of years to explore this galaxy alone.” said Mora and then Gigerdius looked at Mora and said: ”Maybe not, the first ones must have space here, but they just haven’t told about that yet.” ”Yes, you might be right. We might even really make contact to other first one races.” said Mora ”Yeah, we might see that soon.” said Gigerdius and then continued looking out of the holowindow. ”How much ’till the program?” asked Gigerdius and then Mora looked the time and then answered: ”One hour and 12 minutes.” ”We still have to wait.” ”Yeah.” said Mora and then Gigerdius just looked out the holowindow and Mora turned to look out of it, too.
The hazard team was preparing for the training. Dal Reel and Pedlardo were talking when T’Lar came in. Then Dereer said: ”All right people, We got one hour left for the training. So do your final preparation for the training! Briefing will be in 35 minutes so you better prepare quite fast!” Then Dal said to Pedlardo: ”Finally we’ll have some action here, I was tired of waiting all the time.” ”I just hope we past the training, since I have a feeling that we’ll be going into some fights soon.” Pedlardo responned. Then Dal came even more excited and said: ”Hey that would be nice, I hope you’re right!” T’Lar went to her own equipment place and then Grendf came to talk with her: ”Nervous about the training mission?” ”A little, it’s just that I have no idea where we’re going.” ”Hey T’Lar you know what kind of the mission will be?” asked Dal and then T’Lar turned to look at him and answered: ”No, I have no idea. That’s what little bit nervous me.” ”To me it’s enough if there’s enough shooting.” said Dal and then Pedlardo said: ”I just hope we past it well.” Then T’Lar said: ”Well, I hope so too.” Then Tegren came in and Grendf said: ”You should prepare for the training. Briefing will be in 20 minutes.” Tegren went to his equipment place and then responned: ”Yeah, I know. Anyone knows what kind of it is?” ”Nope.” said T’Lar and then Dar said: ”I’ll go to do some ”weapon testing” at the holoroom now.” ”OK, but be sure that you’ll be in the briefing.” said T’Lar ”Hey, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Then Dal went to the holodeck.
Dereer went to the security center to talk with R’Derex. R’Derex was still just sitting in his office. Dereer came in and said: ”The Hazard Teams is now preparing for the training mission. Have you still selected the people for the second team?” ”Beta squad? Well, I have almost all.” answered R’Derex while he started to use his computer. Then Dereer came little closer and asked: ”So who will be in it?” ”Ensign Avek, Ensign Cel’Arek, Enisign Mato and Ensign Laren Borg. I still haven’t decided who will be the last one.” ”Paflek might be a good one.” Dereer suggested and then R’Derex started thinking and then little later said: ”Hmm, yes he might be a good one. I have to think about it, thanks for the suggestion.” ”No problem, glad I can help. The people you’ve selected are a good ones. We have to form it quite soon and start the training.” Then R’Derex looked at Dereer and said: ”Yes, you’re right. I’ve been thinking quite lot now. I’m just little worried that if the Hazard team won’t pass this test. They haven’t proved to be any better than normal security team, at least not yet. I’m just hoping that they’ll pass this test. I’ve known T’Lar for almost five years, by now.” ”Yeah, I know. But still people will start first blaming me, because I’m the Hazard Team’s leader. You shouldn’t worry too much R’Derex, I’m sure they will handle just fine, and even if they wouldn’t succeed I’m sure that they preform just well now.” Dereer was trying to make R’Derex to a little better mood. Then R’Derex looked at his computer’s screen and said: ”I hope you’re right…” ”Well, I’ll be going to the briefing room, to prepare it for the Hazard Team. You should come soon too, since there isn’t much time left.” said Dereer and then he started going out of the room and just before that R’Derex responned: ”I’ll be there soon…” Then Dereer left and R’Derex remained in the room and kept thinking about the Hazard Team.
Deket was also preparing for the Hazard Teams training. Then Drill came in and asked: ”So, you’re ready for the training?” ”Yep. Just making my last preparations.” answered Deket and then put one hypospray into a thing where were other hypos and then Sprak came in and immidiatly said: ”You should report to the holodeck. Captains will be there shortly.” Then Drill turned to see Sprak and asked: ”So, when we’re gonna be briefed about this training mission?” Sprak has kept the door open because he was so close to it and before Sprak was able to answer Grillka answered to that: ”As soon as you all come to the holodeck. The holoroom that has been selected for this mission is 124, so you need to report there immidiatly! Is that clear?” Deket then answered and started walking towards the door: ”Yes, sir. We’ll be there very soon.” ”Good.” said Grillka and then she left. Sprak and the others left and followed her to the Holoroom 124.
Fhogli and Ghi’la were already at front of the Holoroom 124 when Brian came to there. Then Ghi’la asked: ”You know when the others will come?” ”Captains are already on their way here, but I’m not sure about Sprak, Deket or Drill. R’Derex should be at the briefing room now.” answered Brian while he walked to front of the door where Ghi’la and Fhogli were already. Then Fhogli said: ”Well, good! I’ve been standing here for a 25 minutes already.” ”Well, why the hell you came here so early?” asked Ghi’la and then Fhogli was silent for a while, since he didn’t know an answer, but little later he then ressponned: ”Well………. I just don’t like that people always say that why you’re so late. So I wanted to be here early.” ”Oh, I see.” said Ghi’la and was little laughing. Then Brian asked: ”So anyone knows what kind of this mission will be?” ”No, not yet.” said Fhogli and then Ghi’la said: ”I think it’s gonna be here at Exploreison, at least what I heard from the captains and R’Derex. We don’t play a big role in that though.” ”Yeah, that’s so bad.” said Fhogli and then Brian smiled and said: ”But you might be able to shoot at something, you never know.” ”Well I do know when the captains tell what were going to do.” Fhogli explained. Then Grillka, Sprak, Deket and Drill came visible to Brian and the others. Then also some security personel came behind them. Ghi’la then said: ”So, finally some more people are starting to arrive!” ”Yep, we’re here!” said Deket when they stopped at the front of the door. The security personel also arrived and one of them said: ”Our orders are to hold the perimeter here.” And then he and the other security personel started laughing and also Deket and some others started laughing too. Drill didn’t understood and then asked: ”What was so funny about that?” ”Well” said Deket and then laughed a little again and when he was able to stop he continued: ”Nothing, it was just quite funny thing.” Deket didn’t just understand. The whole group was silent for a while ’till Drill asked: ”I just don’t understand what was so funny about that.” ”Heh heh, you just don’t get it, but it’s okey.” said Deket. Same time Gigerdius and Mora were talking in the Mora’s ready room: ”We got about 10 minutes before the Hazard Team will be ordered to the briefing, so I think we should head to the holodeck.” said Gigerdius and then Mora stood up from the chair and said: ”Well, let’s go then.” and then Gigerdius left and Mora left behind him.
Dereer was in the briefind room, he was using the computer when R’Derex came in. Dereer then said: ”So you finally came, everything will be ready for the Hazard Team soon.” ”Good.” said R’Derex and then walked to the console which was in the opposite side of the briefing room. He started to use the console as well. After a while R’Derex said: ”I’ll form the second group after this training mission.” ”Ok, good. Since we might need them soon, you never know.” said Dereer and then R’Derex stopped using the console and placed his hand on the console and said: ”Yeah… You might be right… But now I hope that you aren’t.” Then he took the hand out and continued using the console. Then Dereer said, it looks like we got about five minutes ’till we have to call the Hazard Team here.” ”Ok. By the way, the security personel I ordered to the simulation will be in the second group. I thought that this might be a good time for ’em to get some training and to see what kind of is the Hazard Team.” said R’Derex and then Dereer stopped using the console and responned: ”Well, good thing you did that. This is surely a good training for ’em too.” Gigerdius and Mora had already arrived at the holoroom 124 and briefed everyone who were there. They were going insade of the holoroom 124 when there came an announcement: ”All Hazard Team personel report to the briefing room at once.” Then Gigerdius said: ”All right people, they’ll be coming soon, so prepare yourself, especially all the security personel.”
In the Hazard Team’s area the Hazard Team was preparing itself. Then T’Lar asked: ”Where’s Dal?” ”I think that he’s still in the simulation.” answered Pedlardo and then T’Lar went to the Hazard Team’s holoroom and noticed that a program was running. He opened the door and saw that Dal was in a simulation called Quake X. Then T’Lar said: ”Computer end program.” and then simulation stopped and Dal yelled: ”Hey what the hell!!” ”We need to go to the briefing room now!” said T’Lar and then Dal turned and responned: ”Really? I didn’t noticed that time was going so fast.” ”Yeah, sure. Anyway, you better come now.” Said T’Lar and then she left. Dal stood in the holoroom for a while and then left as well. Most of the Hazard Team had already gone to the briefing room, Dal was the last to arrive. When he had finally come, R’Derex then started: ”Your first lesson now will be to arrive to the briefing room when ordered. In case we’re attacked by some hostile aliens or other forces you need to arrive to the briefing room at once!! Remember that.” Then he moved to his console and Dereer started talking: ”All right people, we’ve been attacked by some unknown group of Hemmoians, Romulans and Klingons. It’s possible that they’re somehow connected to the DHR. Anyway, Exploreison is badly damaged and we can’t escape, the good news is that they seem to be on the run. There’s still lot’s of them in the ship, but the security personel has been able to repel them quite well. Their leader is currently located in the main engineering and is trying to set our main reactor to explode. Your mission will be to get into the engineering and STOP him by any means necessary. If he succeeds in destroying the reactor, we won’t have any chance of a escape. Consider as this would be a REAL mission. Now report to the holodeck and when the program starts, do not leave untill you’re ordered to do so! Now get going!” Then everyone left from the briefing room, R’Derex was the last to leave. When everyone had arrived at the holoroom 124 Gigerdius said: ”Finally everyone is here. Computer start program Shok one.” And then the program started.
Chapter 2: Unpredictable
Hazard Team was in their own gear room. Everything was normal. Gigerdius and Mora came to the bridge and then Gigerdius asked: ”Has the scans found anything yet.” ”No sir, the planet seems to have some kind of jamming field. It might be caused by the radiation, which is on the planet’s surface or by some kind of jamming device.” said Sprak and then Mora said: ”Jamming device? Strange maybe we should send an…” Before Mora was able to finish his question the ship shook a little and then Fhogli said: ”We’re under attack, I’m raising shields and arming weapons!” ”Who are attacking us?” asked Gigerdius and then Sprak said: ”We seem to be under attack by a Hemmoian- and Folan ship. The Hemmoian ship appears to be Aikon Mark III-class Heavy Cruiser and the Folan ship appears to be R'Derax Class Medium Destroyer.” ”DAMN!!!!! They’re far too difficult for us.” said Gigerdius and he wasn’t pleased at the moment, then Brian said: ”We can’t escape sir, they seem to have some sort of jamming field, that prevents us from escaping.” ”Well it seems we’re not going anywhere.” said Mora and then Fhogli said who was busy fighting against the enemy ships: ”Captain, I can’t make much damage to them and our shields are failing. Currently our shield strength is at 25%.” ”Captain, I’m detecting a base on the planet. It has over 300 life-signs.” said Sprak. ”It looks like they don’t want us to find that base.” Said Ghi’la and then Fhogli yelled: ”Sir, our shields have failed!” ”It looks like there’s nothing we can do.” said Gigerdius. The ship started to shake a little then. After little while Fhogli said: ”Captain, our weapons, propulsion and shield systems are gone and the ships have stopped their attack.” Then the computer started announcing: ”Intruders have been detected to beam into the ship, all security personnel prepare for battle.”
Same time in the Hazard Team’s gear room: ”Finally some action!” yelled Dal and was quite excited already, then T’Lar said: ”Remember that we need to wait for further orders here, so do not go anywhere!” ”Yeah, yeah. That’s the problem here!” Said Dal and then he wasn’t so excited anymore. Then Pedlardo said: ”I wonder what will happen to us now.” ”Well we kick some ASS of course!” said Dal. Then Sal said: ”I don’t think much of anything could happen to us, this is a simulation after all.” ”I just want action, nothing else, you know.” said Dal and then T’Lar interrupted and said: ”This is not a simulation, even that it is, it’s not now. Okay?” ”Sure.” said Tegren ”And Dal, you don’t need constantly say how much you wanna fight, because we know that you want so is that okay to you that you don’t constantly say how much you wanna fight?” After T’Lar has asked her question from Dal, he was silent for a while and then responded: ”Yeah…. Sure, it shouldn’t be a problem.” ”Well, good. Maybe now we can just wait here peacefully.”
Then at the bridge: ”They’re boarding us, why?” asked Brian and was quite confused. Then Drill said through the communicator: ”Drill to bridge, we have LOTS of intruders here at engineering, we’re evacuating the engineering and we need security personnel here now!” ”Gigerdius to T’Lar report to the ready room at once!” Then Gigerdius and Mora went to the ready room. At the Hazard Team’s gear room: ”I think I should go now.” said T’Lar and then Dal said: ”Come back fast, I wanna know when I can start the ass kicking.” ”What did I just asked you to do?” asked T’Lar and then Dal was again silent for a while and then answered: ”Uhh, well… Sorry, T’Lar, that won’t happen again. ’Till next time.” ”Oh man…” T’Lar said and then she left the room. She walked to the bridge and from there to the ready room. When she arrived Gigerdius immediately said: “Ensign, we need your team now. Hemmoians, Folans and Vemrers are boarding us. It appears that they’ve taken control of engineering and are trying to get our main reactor to explode. Security forces have been able to get them on the run, but their leader has locked himself to the main engineering. Your mission is to go there and stop him, by any means necessary!” “Do not fail T’Lar. Our future depends on your team now.” “Why can’t we beam into the main engineering?” asked T’Lar and then Mora answered: “Our whole transporter system is being jammed and also turbolifts are offline, so you have to use the stairs to get to the deck 52, turbolifts are working there.” “Stairs, great...” “Get going Ensign, we don’t have much time!” said Gigerdius and then T’Lar left from the ready room. She then started walking back to the Hazard Team’s area. She was thinking about the simulation, that will they survive from the simulation. Then she arrived at the gear room and Dal immediately asked: “So, we’re going now?” “Yeah, we need to use the stairs to get to deck 52, turbolifts are working there and from there we continue to main engineering and then we need to stop the invaders from destroying our main reactor.” “Stairs, that’s gonna be 12 decks we need to go down.” said Tegren and then Sal said: “So we better get our equipment and go.” They went to the equipment room and then Mentar, the equipment handler said: “You’ll get the, normal phaser, compression rifle and the grenade launcher for your mission.” “Grenade launcher, wow!” said Dal and then Pedlardo said: “We better watch for friendly fire too. I’ll take the compression rifle.” “I’ll take the grenade launcher of course.” said Dal and immediately took the grenade launcher. Pedlardo took compression rifle, Tegren took phaser and Sal took compression rifle. T’Lar took compression rifle and grenade launcher. After they had took the equipment they left and then headed to the stairs. When they were just going to the stairs door behind them exploded and Hemmoians, Felons and Vemrers started shooting at them. Then Dal said: “Let’s so them not to mess with Gigerdi Alliance!” Then T’Lar and the others started shooting at them. The Hazard Team was evading the enemy fire and taking cover in the nearby rooms. After a while all the enemies were killed and the Hazard Team was able to continue of going to the deck 52. While T’Lar and the rest of her team were going down, all the bridge personnel left from the simulation, including R’Derex and Dereer.
Outside of the holoroom 124 Gigerdius said to R’Derex: “Observe how the Hazard Team advances, we’ll be on the bridge.” “Yes, sir.” said R’Derex and then went quickly to the security center to observe how the Hazard Teams advances. It took some time for the Hazard Team to get into the deck 52. R’Derex arrived at his own office and started to observe how the Hazard Team advances. While the Hazard Team was going down Dal said: “How much we still need to go down?” “At least five more decks.” said Sal and then Dal said again: “Well, that means we’re almost there then.” They still went down five more decks when they finally arrived at deck 52. They entered the deck 52, which contains officer quarters and sickbay. They looked around a while and didn’t saw anything else except doors and corridors. They turned left and started walking forward. They walked forward until they came to the sick bay. They went to the sick and saw Deket, Drill and other medical personnel there. Deket then said: “So you’re finally, Drill was badly injured at the engineering.” “We need to take a turbolift to the main engineering.” said T’Lar and then Deket responded: “Well, only the front turbolifts are working here, so you have to walk to there. I placed forcefield to prevent them from coming to here, but I can lower it so that you can get pass it, but be careful, that area has lot of hostiles.” “Now we will finally get some action, I hope.” “Sure you do, but what about the security personnel?” asked T’Lar and was quite curious of what has happened to them, Deket then answered: “They’re mostly behind the forcefield, trying to prevent them from getting any further, so you might encounter them as well. So don’t shoot at them, okey?” “Got it, we’ll be going now then.” said T’Lar and then Deket moved to his console and said: “I’ll lower the force field when you reach there.” Then the Hazard Team left, turned right and started walking towards the forcefield. When they arrive at it Deket said through the communicator: “Communications aren’t working so well so you can’t contact the bridge anymore only me and everyone on this deck. I’m lowering the forcefield now...” Then the forcefield went down and the Hazard Team went through it and when they had cleared it Deket continued: “I’m now putting it on again, good luck Hazard Team.” The Hazard Team continued going forward. When they arrived at one corner they noticed that security forces were fighting agains the invaders. Dal was the first to run there, but the others followed just behind him. With the help of the Hazard Team the invaders were stopped easily and then one of the security officers said: “Thanks, we wouldn’t have been able to stop them without your help.” “No problem, you’re coming with us?” asked T’Lar and then the security officer replied: “No, our orders are to stay here.” “All right, we’ll continue now.” Said T’Lar and then they started walking forward again when the security officer still said: “Well, good luck. There’s quite much of hostiles ahead.” “Ok, we’ll be ready then.” said T’Lar and then they continued going towards the front of the ship. Just after about 100 meters when they had turned to left there was five Folans, six Hemmoians and four Vemrers, which some of them had grenade launchers. The Hazard Team was taking cover at the corridors, except that Dal wasn’t much of in cover, but was mostly constantly firing at the Hemmoians, Folans and Vemrers. While they were battling with them R’Derex was closely observing their battle.
Dereer then came in to the R’Derex office and asked: “How’s the Hazard Team advancing?” “Well, so far they’re still at deck 52.” answered R’Derex and was constantly looking at the screen. “Everything has gone well so far?” asked Dereer and sat to chair in front of R’Derex’s desk, “Well, so far, yes. I just hope the end will go fine. That’s the only thing that troubles me.” answered R’Derex and was constantly looking at the screen “It looks like they’ve reached the turbolifts.” he continued. When the Hazard Team has reached the turbolifts then Deket contacted them through the communicator: “There’s two turbolifts there, and I don’t think that all of you can fit into one so I suggest you split into two groups and meet then at the engineering, because the lifts go different routes.” “Ok, Dal and Sal are with me then.” said T’Lar and then Pedlardo said: “All right, we’ll meet you at the engineering.” Then T’Lar, Dal and Sal went to one of the turbolifts, Pedlardo and Tegren to another. Deket then left from the simulation.
